    I didn't know if it would be any good either, but it is very action filled and full of suspense and gore. Plus Sophia Bush is hot, so it's a plus for males to watch.

    Personally I usually can't stand big-budget hollywood McHorror flicks. Stuff like the Scream series, darkness falls, I know what you did last summer etc are terrible. I prefer lower budget, more artsy fartsy horror where they try to genuinely creep you out using subtle things, like the lighting and grainy-ness of the film, and the sounds you hear. A good horror flick doesn't just constantly bother you with "jump" scenes where something pops up suddenly accompanied by some loud piano-bang noise. I do enjoy a good horror movie though, just not most of the garbage they are pumping out these days.

    Every horror movie I have seen in the last few years has just made me laugh. Every once in awhile I see one in theaters just to laugh at the people who get scared

    Alpha dog will probably suck horribly. I would rent Hostel, The Mothman Prophecies, The Descent, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original) instead.
