    This trial has been going on for more than a year and a verdict is expected this weekend. It will be a great tragedy imo if she gets convicted based on the facts.

    BTW shes kinda hot too

    it seems like she's guilty..i followed this awhile back....she's obv pretty insane..she gives off the persona like she's hella innocent--her looks def attribute to that but she should def be sentenced to the psych wardddd

    If you truly followed this case, I am shocked you would think she is guilty. This trial has proved one thing and that is the Italian justice system is seriously flawed (much, much more than the US system). They have no evidence against this girl. These charges are not based on evidence but rather on wild speculation from a crazy prosecutor (who himself is under indictment). If this case was brought in the US, it would have been dismissed long before it ever reached a jury. It really is sad that this young girl may spend the rest of her life in jail without ever getting a fair trial.

    i actually followed this pretty closely a couple months ago. apparently this is being compared to the OJ Simpson case in terms of magnitude for italy. cbs's 48 hours mystery did an episode on it; you can watch it on the website but for some reason i cant directly link it here.... and it's worth the watch.

    I remember seeing a dateline or some show like that about this case a couple years ago. I don't recall all of the details, but I remember thinking there was a good amount of evidence against her. Perhaps not enough that she should be convicted, but there are definitely cases in the US where people were convicted of murder on less.

    girl is pretty good looking. the fact that she may be fucking crazy and killed someone in a drugged up sex orgy makes her quite hot.

    edit: 48 hours mystery is the show I saw. solid program. there was a post here a while back on another episode of it, "dream killers," I think, where 2 teens were convicted of murder. That was a much more reckless conviction than this would be.

    A terrible injustice was done tonight. Amanda Knox is innocent. Convicted by the Italian media so convicted in court. 26 years in jail. She's innocent.

    thats the thing. if you looked at the case and studied it a bit, then you would see there is no real evidence to convict her.

    the jury not being sequestered is dumb, but this chick is probably guilty. no way you can say she is definitely innocent or that this was a terrible injustice. If this trial takes place in the US she probably gets convicted and gets life.
