  17. I watched that video 3 times

When i was 12, my family went on a trip to the Venezuelan Amazon. one of the places we stayed was about 100 miles from the next source of electricity (except the presidentital retreat house, which had a plant but it was empty at the time). That night was def one of the coolest nights in my life, only because of the insane amount of starts. it looked like this (Not as detailed):

  18. Thanks for the embed, Spanky. Glad you enjoyed. Pretty sick.

    looool - nice
when we were on our way up haleakala on maui to watch the sunrise, we stopped just above the cloud layer and got out to look at the stars - it was amazing - to see ALL the stars is just... humbling is the only thing i can think to say - they built an observatory that was, at one time, the largest in the world up there (obv not anymore) because of the clarity of the night sky
i remember growing up in rural arkansas how beautiful the night sky was (nothing in comparison to maui, but still so much better than what i get now) - i def miss that with all the light pollution charlotte gives off
  26. yeah, you generally have to get out of the urban and suburban areas here to get the good view, but it's pretty awesome. At my sister's ranch (300 miles north of Dallas, and 50 miles away from any city lights), the stars are just incredible....
