  1. Ok, so my brother-in-law is a huge soccer fan and he thinks that at least 50% of Americans can identify or know who Messi is? I'm gonna say that the number is way lower than that. My guess is that at most 15% of Americans know who he is. I know there is no way to solve this argument, but I figured this would be a pretty good barometer. Ok OT just give me your best guess at the correct %. Thanks!
  2. holy shit. you guys are both morons.

    it's less than 1%

EDIT: that could identify him in a picture, that is

prolly ~5% know who he is

  3. Pretty sure Waco is right, if not then it HAS to be less than 3% fo sho.
  4. 50% of americans don't know who the vp is

    5% or less

  5. Probably not 1%, but 15% seems high. 5-7% would be my estimate.
  6. The way to solve it is to tell him he's a ruh-tard. 50% loooooool

You could post on an American SPORTS forum, and you'd be lucky to get 50%
  7. Yeah, it's definitely closer to 0% than 15 or 50.

  8. In fact, you probably could have polled the crowd at FedEx Field last night, and you'd be lucky to get 75% who would have known who Messi was...
  9. I've never heard of him.
  10. There was a ESPN poll question on Friday with Messi as one of the answers. I asked a guy who works for me, he is a big sports fan and did not know who he was. So i would say very few over all knows who he is.

  11. i would definitely take the under at 5% if you show a picture of him in a suit and asked:

    1.) What is his name?
2.) What sport does he play?
3.) What country is he from?

no way more than 5% of the US could answer that.

more like .5% for those questions

dude, 1/5 of Americans can't locate our country on a fucking globe

99.9% of women could not identify this guy... 5% of men, tops

~2% is the highest I am willing to go

  14. What's the percentage of Mexican Americans that could answer this question?
  15. I'm an avid sports person and no way could i even pick him out looking like this. In his uniform on the pitch i could but not off the field.

  16. There are a lot of latinos living in the US. I am going to say a lot of them know who he is.

  17. what's soccer?
  18. Way less than the number who knows who Cristiano Ronaldo is.
  19. Sadly, prob 1-2% of Americans...most Euro, South American countries....prob 20% +
  20. if you showed me that pic i would think it was brees
  21. Well this is certainly what I thought. My 15% was strictly for betting purposes with my brother-in-law. I knew the real number was lower. Now he's trying to tell me...."oh I meant the world"...lol!

    tell him he's still a ruh-tard.

i don't know what % of the world doesn't have internet/tv access, but there's not a chance 50% of the world would know who Messi is.
