but ya i dont post very often on here, mostly i post in sports/music/movies threads and im usually just responding to people i disagree with...im sure u liked my rants when they werent directed at u...but how can i not tell u how wrong u are when u post a video of a mediocre singer and saying hes better then anyone on the voice or american idol? i should lose my password though, ive probably wasted a retarded amount of my life reading p5s..add that to the list of things im angry and depressed about -
Just finished the LA and St. Louis portions of this current season. I thought Howard Stern was absolutely perfect for this show. I didn't really expect him to be crude Howard Stern...it's NBC primetime ffs. But I thought he was a very solid judge and had some pretty funny shit to say.

On a side note, I want to say f all of you for turning me into a sucker for these talent shows. Before OT, I loathed the very idea of watching one of these things, and the last cpl years, I've been absolutely hooked by them. Idol and now I have a feeling I'm gonna be hooked with AGT, especially with Stern as one of the judges. Could do without Howie Mandel though...and Sharon...just wow, just have a one man judging panel with Howard Stern, and I'll be satisfied. -
oh you definately have your funny moments. i dont think you disagree with everything i say, i just think you respond to comments you disagree with and that is what we remember. We probably agree on more than you think but since i often have different tastes or opinionated views than that makes you more likely to respond when you disagree. Responding in a negative way doesnt mean you hate anyone...if that were true i would hate most people on pfives. Landau won because of his body of work and i happen to dig that old school voice...maybe it was the fact that a black man was singing it and that made it all the more unexpected.

the only problem with howard stern as a judge, is hes taking over too much it seems to be all about him when it comes to the judging makes thing a bit weird.
-
Yea, howie mandell is fucking awful.
Im pretty sure the demographic for his jokes are 3rd graders. -
holy mother of god at that last act that was just on. dude took nontop kicks and 2x4's and cynderblocks to the nuts and didn't even flinch. what on earth...
-
After watching one episode my conclusion is... Howard Stern is still the man despite this, and Americas Got Talent is a total piece of shit just like all the rest of these shows.
Show should be called Americas Full of Dumbfucks that Enjoy Total Shit on TV -
Yeah, well, whatcha gonna do?

A fucking dog did a back flip!

dunno if anyones following this, who you all like going into the final 48?
i think this is the year where a non singer finally wins..really no one spectacular, altho some good singers. i think maybe they did that so they could have it play out that a non singer wins.(nikki and edon are prob the two best, but i think theyll lose around the top 10)
i think the best acts are aurora light painters(think theyll get like 6thish), eric dittleman(mind reader, he seems really good and has impressed so far), joe castillo(dude that makes the sand art, might be my fav so far, prob won't win tho), and a handfull of good dance groups(puerto ricans, lightwire, guys that paint while dancing), and i like todd oliver(talking dog comedian) and tom cotter(reg comedian).
also really like william close(dude that plays music with strings stertch across the theatres), but we only saw him once so hard to judge.
my top 3 right now is prob lightwire, castillo, and dittleman.
still some shitty acts, but def some new acts ive never seen before like previous years(Illuminate and fighting gravity). once its down to like 20ish should be pretty good. -
My favorite part of shows like this are all the shitty acts...maybe I'm in the minority but I assumed most ppl watched American idol for the shit singers and audition fails, I have never watched American Idol past the audition parts.
I started watching AGT cuz its on demand and its entertaining so far, but ill probly not watch till the end after I have seen all the acts, already getting OI since most of the Vegas performances were flops (everyone seemed nervous). -
Eric already knows whether he will win or not tho.

I dont watch this show but if you are wondering how people train to take strikes to the groin, its simple really. They train to pull their shit up inside of them, so you arent actually kicking their nuts, just their pelvic bone. Its a part of shaolin iron body training. I'm more impressed with what they can do with their necks tbh.

guess most people aren't still watching, but for the few that are, man the 4th round of 12 was pretty amazing. sucks for some of the groups to get paired with so many great acts. dittleman is really impressive, like him even more now. and william close is what i thought he was, amazing and probably the favorite at this point. really doesn't matter for him, hes gonna have a show. howard stern even offered to produce it lol. and castillo was really good again as well. voting comes through tomorrow, really hope they all make it through cuz i def wanna see more and would def pay to see any of those shows, but there legit was not an act tonight i wouldn't pay to see. My guess is almost all of the people who don't make it thru tom. will come back on the wildcard show anyway
-
the dog act really?
they couldn't even control the one dog that ran back down the steps -
Was really rooting for that 16yr old dance girl. Thought she was awesome. I have never voted for anything tv wise ever and I voted for her 9 times.

2yrs tho only 2yrs -
The best show for Vegas would be combing the earth harp (William Close?) and the sand artist. Using the harps songs with his back up band and tell the story of each song through the sand guy would be epic. I'd easily pay to watch that. Haven't seen last night's show yet so I don't know who made it through.

Combine UNITY IN MOTION with WILLIAM CLOSE.

hands down the best shit is dittlemen
but i do wonder......
wouldnt the FBI and CIA be on him like flies on shit if he were tryly a mind reader -
unless she lives inVegas 16 and up there noob
-
Ok the best 5 tonight were........
Dittlemen
Turf
Tom Cotter
Acadamy of Villains
William Close (i really am not too fascinated by it but i know others like him)
singers were solid as well.
but only 3 make it...
i want Kotter, Turf and Dittlemen
i think it will be Kotter, Close and Acadamy of Villians -
hah im watching it right now, just got to the two brothers and havn't been too impressed. i like edens voice, but i actually agreed with howard, didn't like the song choice. the husband wife strong people were ok, the dog guy was pretty funny, prob not enough to get through, def not a big enough act to win, but i like him nonetheless. glad your faves are all the ones i havn't seen, esp dittleman, hes awesome(coming on right now)
-
wow, dittleman rapes. seriously dont know how he does it. wasn't that impressed with the triangle inside a circle (i thought of circle inside a triangle) because obv other than a square those will be the first two almost everyone is going to think of those shapes first, so hell be right for half the people, but yea, his past stuff and having the colors right, pretty amazing
