Just had 2 good looking ladies come to the door. THey said they were with Americorps(had badges on and everything) Said they were doing a survey for the town I live in. IT was not part of the census was just to give numbers for the city. They asked how many ppl live in the house. Then I had to check a box of what level my income was at. Funny part was highest box was only 54k+. This was whole family income. That was it then they said thank you and went on.
Was I just cased. Now they will come back and rob me because I checked the highest box they had?
Anyone else heard of this or had it happen?
Did a quick search and couldnt find anything. Meh at least if I get robbed this week. I wont be home, just the wife. -
Americorp is definitely a legit organization, I almost applied out of college. They send college graduates into areas that desperately need education help and they teach the kids. At the end of the americorp stint, like 2 years I think, the teachers are given their teachers license. You can sign up for it no matter what degree you have, as long as you have one.
No idea if they were actually from americorp though.
