    the paper said "she is just what the grammys need" and i almost died laughing. a needle sticker who is going to die within the next 5 years, yeah, good choice.

    didnt everyone hear her song ENOUGH during every freaking commercial break? the only reason i watched was for the foo fighters...obv...imo.

    Obv shes ugly gross nasty disgusting destructive stupid etc etc etc.

    But she is an incredibly talented musician, despite the fact that I thought her performance was meh. Listen to her album - I personally think Rehab is one of the worst songs on it.

    Actually I don't. I don't even have the cd downloaded, but my sister does, and i recently listened to it in her car.

    I was as skeptical as all of you, trust me.

    thank goodness for this thread. I saw her results and couldn't believe it. This is why I hate award shows. They can't pick good artists/actos/movies etc....no that would be too obvious. Instead, please wow us with your expertise and tell us why these smart, artsy pieces of garbage are far superior to the popular top selling and generally appreciated ones.

    These award shows try to focus on the music rather than the popularity / image / whatever you want to call it.

    If Amy Winehouse looks like and acts like Carrie Underwood, this thread would never be made :(

    I agree 100%. She is a nasty cracked-out hoe, but she can sing like hell and writes some pretty good music imo
