there are worse stat whores daily on the NBA guys going for a layup as time expires when down 10 plus points

at least blache was going for a "meaningfull" stat, and he has played great or at least had great stats since wash traded everyone

The only bad thing was takin the shot with 4.2 seconds left. You guys are blaming the guy for hustling hard to get a rebound for a triple double? Come on now. He had a smile on his face the whole time, he wasn't mad at his teammate. I also assume he was joking with Jianlian...which was actually pretty funny.

Wow this, I feel like I'm watching a different video than everybody else or something. He tried his hardest on rebounds off the opposing teams shots because he really wanted a triple double. He didn't pull a Ricky Davis, he didn't try to hurt anyone or disrespect anybody and he was laughing around with his teammates the whole time. What is the problem?

actually I had more of a problem with his initial reaction to his teammate than anything else. The shot with 4.2 seconds left? whats the problem? Played hard all game and now the game has been decided, why not?

edit: so character has alot to do with it as well. This guy seems like a pompous, self- centered jackass, so it is prab safe to say he was being selfish. But if this was...Josh Smith would have a problem with it. Minus the yelling @ teammate part for me.

can you please show me where i said i knew more about basketball than Coach K? he made a wrong decision on a big stage...shit happens. he still won the national title, and i doubt he'll lose sleep over it.

yah this is more why i think it's stupid...without the teammate part, i wouldn't really have a problem. i'd still think he was a moron...but i thought that before this.

his character + the way he carried on after Cartier Martin grabbed the rebound that fell into his hands made it a dickbag move IMO.
