    Im all for the health care bill...but I feel that is a very weak point/argument being made in the video.

    I'm guessing CNS news is a branch of Fox News or at minimum like minded. The Reporter says that Pelosi says "your healthcare will be funded by the public" but in that piece, she says nothing of the kind.

    We all know that if healthcare is not provided by the employer, the individual is REQUIRED to purchase it. That's one of the principal right wing talking (crying) points. OP seems to be one of the lemmings who cannot think for himself. Tell the truth or at minimum, don't believe everything you see.

    Yes, I watched the video. Entrepreneurial means to organize a business, take a risk. It does not mean "starving artist". Individuals under the bill are required to pay their own way, assistance is based on need.

    Cherry picking this example takes the facts out of context.

    I get a kick out of the Reporters name..........Nicholas Fallacy. Kinda fitting.

    Speaker Pelosi is absolutely correct that the health care bill will encourage people to be entrepreneurial and take risks, creating small businesses and growing the economy. It is a good thing for the economy to have people able to quit their jobs and take a risk without fear of losing their ability to purchase healthcare coverage.

    It's kind of a reasonable question, right? Why didn't they just redo everything?

    Okay. Think back to last year. Remember all the controversy and the gnashing of teeth and the arguments and the rowdy crowds and the dogs and cats sleeping together? That was because they made a relatively small change to the health care system. Now imagine what would happen if they tried to "redo everything."

    How about just saying... lets keep everything the same, but add in something that would allow me to buy health insurance the same why i buy car insurance.

    i know we are all different but this lady gets enough votes to win her seat and gets enough support to be the top dog in the house. my point is...who are these people? and can we encourage them all to move to calif?

    i cant see any reason i could ever vote for pelosi under any circumstances. and i cant see where i would have anything in common with those that could.

    I got a yuck out of a thread during the past week where someone referred to Pelosi as "a tool". Like John Bohner isn't one also? They are just politicians doing their job. I agree with Underdog in that getting anything done over the course of the past year and a half has been incredibly difficult. Even politicians like Blanch Lincoln, Arlen Specter and others are now paying the political price for being in-decisive in their dealings with the President, their party and the public.

    On a side note anyone listen to the news today. Not sure if it just came out or not, but the government said the new health care bill is going to cost 150billion more then they thought already lol. weeeeeeeeeeeeeee. who knew?
