i'm thinkin throw it down the stairs... but who knows.
if i microwave it will they kno its beeen in a microwave :P
EDIT:
with the iphone, just "lose" it... then sell it overseas . easy! -
take a nice hot bath with it, and make sure it's plugged in.
-
I just called the cops
...they agree water damage -
get a strong magnet. It'll wipe the shit clean, and they won't be able to say it was intentional... u could argue its from speakers too close or some other bs
-
why did I even open this thread? fuck, I miss the days when OT would rape anyone who thought about ripping off insurance. or drinking and driving. or smoking cigarettes. or looking at 17 yo girls, don't forget that one. pretty much anything illegal that wasn't smoking weed or gambling.
if I wanted to be sure my laptop was broke I'd dunk it in water, definitely. it's so easy to say you dropped it in ur gf's bath or some shit like that.
gl. -
You could donate it to your community's recycling program then buy yourself a new one.
Or shove it up your ass, anal leakage is water damage as well. -
I'd go with a big magnet...or open it up so you can see the insides and take a lighter to one spot for a while...when they open it up at the repair place just go "WHOAAAA that coulda started a fire!" or something.

leave it out in your car for a couple of days let it get nice and frozen and then bring it inside and then nuke it for a minute.

I had a buddy with Dell support, the best kind (platinum maybe?), and he wanted a new computer. He ended up taking a tazer to the hard drive, and support couldn't figure out for the life of them what happened. He obviously got a new computer...
-
So they replaced the entire computer because the hard drive was bad? I find it hard to believe Dell support is that stupid. lol we use Gold Support at my job and that's 24/7 on site support within like 3 hours on site. But honestly, I've done this for mine and a friends. Power it on, sit it in the sink. Pour milk on it until it turns off. Let it sit a few hours in the sink to let the milk somewhat dry on the motherboard and internals. Give it a day or two, then send it in. At that point its a biohazard to most places due to the Milk starting to mold and they'll replace it.

was gonna say in before righteous OTers come out about how ripping off insurance company leads to the devil. and its obamas fault. and wear a seatbelt. also dont put coins in cigaratte lightsers, etc..

So i bought my gf a nice laptop for her to use for school and got max warranty i could on it because she is kinda clumsy and i expect shit to happen to that laptop (heavy usage too).

She has a small 2ince long stratch in the middle of her screen and since she is in architecture and basically deals with a bunch of little lines all the time the scratch is very annoying.
I called DELL to see if the warranty covered. They tell me that the scratch is too small so its not covered. My follow up question, since i paid a lot for the warranty, was that when sold i was told that if i drop coffee on the laptop, 100% my fault and it wrecks it they would replace and they confirm this is true. NExt question was that i stepped on my gf's old laptop and crushed the screen (reason i bought the new one), if i did that again and the screen was fukd would they replace it. They said yes.
So then to resume everything i said
"" Since the sractch is too small its not covered but if i accidently smash the screen completely, then you will replace it ''
'' Correct sir''
'' ok thx''
..... so silly. Before leaving for summer trip u can be damn sure im accidently crushing that screen and sending it to get repaired while we dont need it. -

You could run it over with your car. That should do it.

1. Collect dust from around your house
2. Open laptop (unscrew everything underneath)
3. Fill with dust
4. Confirm that laptop no longer works
5. Profit
