"Stop resisting" -
the only problem is if he says he's gonna kill himself and they just leave then they get fucked if he does it. not sure whytf they're there in the 1st place unless paramedics called them
-
pretty ridic but thats what happens when you dont listen to the po-po ... bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzztttttttttttttttt
-
Inexcusable under any circumstances, much less to an old man sitting in his home doing nothing.
-
That is rediculous...tasering a 64 year old man sitting in his home like that. Why was the taser even out in the first place?

cant see any reason to taze him. obv the cops would be screwed if he said he was gonna kill himself and then they left and he did. i wonder what he said.
if its like, "this hurts so bad, i'm gonna shoot myself" then its prob pretty bad for the cops.
seems like if both sides were a little less confrontational, this could have been very easily sorted out. -
This was 1000 times more disturbing than the puppies getting chucked in the river video. I usually side with the cops, but those two should be beaten.
-
Crazyest part is after tasering him once and saying "stop resisting" several times before stopping... The man makes no movements whatso ever and the cop tases him again... and again... this is stupid
-
Another example of the whole story not being presented fully........
-
i fuckin hate pigs, stop resisting? Are you fuckin serious? Poor older guy should get to fuck thats cops wife in the ass.
-
What is the whole story? As if you know. True you don't know what lead up to the tasing like why they are in the house, what the man said to make the cop want to take him to the hospital. What you know is what is on tape and it's hard to imagine regardless of what he said to the cop that the cops actions are justified.

99.9% of the time I'm going to be on the cops side but this seemed excessive. He had no weapon and posed no threat. They could have subdued him without the use of a taser.
-
ka-ching
-
This, sort of.....he was already injured from the fall and it was obvious that he wasn't going to the hospital without some kind of force. The tazer could have very well saved more injury to him when the cops tried to subdue him.

The story is pretty easy to figure out. Cops got called likely by the wife because the guy said "I'm going to blow my brains out." I'm assuming there is some obligation that cops have wherever this was to bring a potentially suicidal guy to the hospital. The cops decided to tase the guy even though he was 158 years old and his wife was saying he had a heart condition.
I think it's obvious the taser wasn't necessary. I'm glad to see one of these videos of cops being assholes where the taser was used correctly, but just unnecessarily. Usually in the videos I've seen it seems the taser is used as a punishment for mouthing off rather than as a tool to safely detain someone.
