Been wanting to get one for awhile now. My buddy just got a Suzuki drz 400sm and I am thinking about getting one as well. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on them. It is a supermotard bike.

Had a couple when I was in college. 1976 Honda 750 was the last. Sweet bike. Now I prefer heat, air, music, heated, adjustable leather seats, but I do understand the allure. I spent a lot of time riding in the Shenandoah Luray area of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Motorcycles are like helicopters. You've either had a major accident with one, or you're going to . . . be a good guy and sign your donor card before you take delivery.

Yeah my buddy says there is nothing like cruising down the street on a bike. Guess Im gonna find out.

I am partial to the Zuki GSXR 750's and also the GSXRk5's.

I have an 85 goldwing and 07 VTX 1800. I take the goldwing on long distance rides to the mountains a few times a year and the vtx is for transportation. I've been on crotch rockets and love the pure speed and power but if you are going to be a daily rider those are not as comfy or practical.
If you ride remember a few basic safety rules.
you fit in blind spots so don't assume cars can see you
drivers think you can stop on a dime (my pick up stops safer than the goldwing)
a loud bike is a safe bike
stay out of the middle of the lane, this collects all of the oil and road grime, stay in tire grooves.
gl man, i can't imagine not riding, i've been riding for 30 years and when i'm no longer safe on 2 wheels i'll go to 3. -
Thanks for the tips. I cant wait to ride but like you said. At the first sign I dont feel safe I will def sale it.

I miss riding on a motorcycle. The freedom you feel when riding on a bike is amazing that you just cant get riding in a car.
I live in an area you can ride pretty much all year around, however, with the influx of senior citizens down here, this isnt that safest metro area to ride in. :( -
I am a Harley owner myself

do u have circles down yet?

had a 82 yamaha special 2 650. loveddddddd it.
fuck i need to get another bike
also rockets are gay. -
Riding a motorcycle down the road in fall through the mountains has been one of my favorite thigns to do. When its time to kick back and relax there is no better way than to cruise down the highway to where ever. I highly suggest getting a bike no matter what the type. Enjoy!!
