    kind of a must in Texas -- although I won't be getting any. Its too hot to wear jeans/long pants for like 10 months a year, don't think I'd get my monies worth -- unless I wore them with shorts.... that could be fun.

    My wife got a pair for Christmas though.

    I personally like the old school ones better with a leather bottom but this is kinda what I have. Like Nick said, everyone in Texas MUST own a pair of boots

    This has to be a regional thing. I don't know a single person where I live that owns cowboy boots and givven my current fashion tastes, I would never in a million years even think about buying some. I've got plenty of non sneakers that go very well with any type of pants, from boots to loafers to boat shoes. They look hard to drive in. I agree with the brit, im shocked by how many people are saying yes to owning them.

    The couple times I went to Austin I saw girls sporting this look and it really was one of the hottest outfits I've ever seen. I'm used to sun dresses and flip flops. The cowboy boots took it to another level.

    Personally, I've never owned cowboy boots and I don't think I hang out with one male friend who does.

    Yeah, you really can't tell if someone is wearing boots, they look like normal brown dress shoes unless they are beat to shit.

    would never ever wear them. Unless I had to choose between cowboy boots and those new ugly Nike shoes...in which case I would snap call on the cowboy boots.

    coming from someone whom has actually lived in a region of the country where they are popular, to think that only rednecks wear cowboy boots is just ignorant.

    trust me op. get a pair of either of the above, rock em with a pair of faded jeans and a matching pearl snap.

    make sure that you buy your jeans an extra size long and let them fray. my buddies always want to know how i outkick my coverage. this is the secret.
