anyone else have a fantasy football playoff game hinging on an otherwise meaningless rams-bears game tonight?

    no. i had my hopes hinging on drew brees last night. i needed another player to lose or tie and i would go to the playoffs. brees put up a mighty effort to help me out, but fell ONE POINT SHORT of a tie.

    now my playoff hopes rest with the office of stat corrections!!!

    I won my matchup #4(me) vs. #5, but my opponent next week is dependent on Musin Muhammed getting 10 points or less to I get to play the #8 team next week and not the #1 seed. But it's hard to root against the bears. So I won't .

    yeah...that's not the worst part. i TIED last week, so ONE POINT there would have given me the pass as well. aaaand we have the same record...he just has more total points scored than i do. even though my team blew out the competition this week.

    True Story:

    My friend in our league had to win his game last week to make the playoffs, he was up by ONE POINT after Delhomme had a strong game...it seemed wrapped up with the Panthers on the 7 yard line, and then Delhomme threw that RIDICULOUS interception which is a -2 points and he missed the playoffs by a point.

    Our league's semi-finals were this week, and I got screwed over pretty badly. Because there was a game on Thursday, the league wouldn't let me pick anyone up off waivers, and two of my RBs (Chester Taylor and Lawrence Maroney) were out. So I had to start my only backup left, Mike Bell, who got me 3 points and I had to start Taylor anyway. Taylor's backup got 28 points. My other 2 RBs are Tiki and Marion...Tiki did fine but Marion didn't get any touches after dominating for about 8 weeks straight. Even if Taylor would've played I'd be in the finals, because I only lost by 6.5 points. So now I have to play in the 3rd place game...3rd place gets money, 4th doesn't.

    thats messed up you couldnt change anything after thurs....i spent my whole sunday half-working and half-trying to figure out if mcgahee and colston were playing since they both played late

    YEP!  if Desmond Clark >2 points I lose, and lose $100 bet lol.  1 game down and 23 points down, have a 25 point lead going into tonight.. so i need the shut out.. ship it!

    I have 63 pts, my opp has 63.55. I have T. Jones, Des Clark, and Gould. He has Bears D, Muhammad, and J. Wilkins. My opp is on his way over to my house right now to watch the game. Needless to say this should be very exciting.

    I have a .25 pt lead going into tonight's game. My opponent has Torry Holt and I have Stephen Jackson playing tonight. Currently up by 4pts, but Jackson just limped off the field.

    I was up 1 point and he had Desmond Clark. Win or a tie and I win the division and make the playoffs. Lose and I'm out. Desmong gets 1 friggin point!!! WOOOOOOO!! Game time.
