  1. Incase you don't know what lucid dreaming is here's Wikipedia's shorts defintion:

A lucid dream is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. During lucid dreams, it is often possible to exert conscious control over the dream characters and environment, as well as to perform otherwise physically impossible feats.

I first learned about lucid dreaming about 6 months ago and since then have had over 20. I will say they are very enjoyable experiences, and unless you've actually had one they are beyond description.
If you don't believe me, well try for yourself. I can guarantee with enough practice ANYONE can have lucid dreams within 3 months (I actually had one on my first attempt).

  3. yes, other people have them.
  4. obv other ppl have them. it just seems the majority of the world doesn't know what they are. I seriously think it makes life 10% better. I mean who can argue with 'playing god' while you'd normally be wasting time with regular sleep.

    how do you practice this???
  13. To me, lucid dreams mean having complete mental control over the self but without the physical constraint. Your consciousness can roam wherever is pleases without having to lug your body around. In a way, it is set free.

In that respect, I think lucid dreams should be used as an exercise in self-control.

That's all I got right now. Carry on.
  14. I do this all the time. Freakiest ones are if you fall asleep with the TV on loud enough the sound will influence your dream.
