Or is it just me? Just tried it for the first time today, and it seems like it can't find sites it used to be able to.
Typed "NYC DOB" to get the Dept. of Buildings site up, and can't find it - go to google and gets me there with no problems. Even 'pocketfives' gets no link. WTF! -
Looks normal to me.

Are you sure your modem is hooked up properly? Even if you have a 56k, you might only be getting 28.8 or even 14.4.

Maybe try asking an expert on one of the tech BBS's?. I got plenty of free AOL trial offers if yours is running out.

I just discovered that aol still has dialup access numbers. I called one and got half a stiffy reminiscing about that sound and waiting 10 minutes for a picture of Pamela Anderson's boobs to load.

Other than the fact that it doesn't distract you with so much shit on it's page, what makes Google so much better than Yahoo? After all, it's just a search engine.
