Anyone Having Yahoo Search Engine Problems Today?

    Or is it just me? Just tried it for the first time today, and it seems like it can't find sites it used to be able to.

    Typed "NYC DOB" to get the Dept. of Buildings site up, and can't find it - go to google and gets me there with no problems. Even 'pocketfives' gets no link. WTF!

    Yeah, pretty much; every time I go to Yahoo I get distracted looking at all the crap on that page, and promise to just switch to Google - this should do it.

    Are you sure your modem is hooked up properly? Even if you have a 56k, you might only be getting 28.8 or even 14.4.

    I just discovered that aol still has dialup access numbers. I called one and got half a stiffy reminiscing about that sound and waiting 10 minutes for a picture of Pamela Anderson's boobs to load.

    Other than the fact that it doesn't distract you with so much shit on it's page, what makes Google so much better than Yahoo? After all, it's just a search engine.
