The product is terrible. From what I hear (or don't - hahahahaha) - sorry - that was ghey

I used a product called Broadvoice. Very similar, VoIP phone. The quality is nowhere near that of a normal landline, but then neither is the price. Occasionally I wouldnt be able to use the phone, Id try again in 10 mins and it would be fine. My internet ran a little slower while using the phone, it made some funny clicking noises when I went to a new website....but again, its only $29. Its well worth the price if you make a lot of long distance calls, but if youre cell phone works in your house, youre better off just moving up to the next plan and calling from your cell.

I know a couple of my buddies use Vonage and we live in Japan. They love it, people in the states call them direct and they call the states direct. I have never heard anything bad about it.
Now don't ask me how they manage to use it in Japan, I believe it has something to do with being on a military base. But not really sure, what I am sure about is they have not had any problems with it.

I've used Vonage for six months, It didn't great at first, but if you get on line you can adjust the quality. I adjusted it to the best and it works great now. I pay 30.52 a month also. I also don't see any difference in my internet connection.

I've used it for 2 years, and I'll never use anything else. I spend about 4-5 hours a day making long distance calls from home and no extra fees. I also have a vonage fax line and a toll free number. Everything works great and totals about $50 a month for all 3 lines

I don't have Vonage but Time Warner Cable offers phone service with their cable modem service, which is basically the same thing. It's great, very cheap, no problems.
The only thing is that if you have a power outage, then you have no 911 service. We've got cellphones so we figured that was ok.
