  1. I was taking my dogs out this morning, and a tree about 20 feet from the house is covered in termites (at least i think it's termites). They pretty much got the dead stump covered, and they flying up and everywhere.....just curious is anyone knows about them, or do i have to worry with all of em flying around that they're going to take to my house in anyway? Or just leave it alone and let them eat the tree and move on?

  3. pics or?
  4. I wouldnt worry to much.

Swarm season is march-mayish. Thats when you really need to start worrying. Ant swarm season is pretty much the same time. If you start noticing a bunch of winged ants/termites in and around your house. Then maybe it would be time to contact a specialist.

To check for termites is pretty easy . walk around the outside of your house. Look for mud tunnels. they will look like mud trails coming from the ground up foundation to the siding. If you go under your house. If you have a crawl space. Look for the same tunnels. That is the most likely place it will be.

Break off a chunk. you will see the tunnel inside the mud. If it is active termites will come out.
