Settle down Beavis ;) Your passion is pure; but your essence kinda makes it seems like you are ridin da rails......
You misread Z-fresh -

"Are you really trying to get CoolHand to get into these guys? Dude is pure metal which makes him 1000x more radical than everyone else I know except for my buddy Robbie who Coolhand actually met and chilled with. Both of them should have never left the 80's. Actually, I'm not even sure Coolhand was born in the 80's."
like what does it matter if someone is pure metal does that mean they wont love moe? i had a buddy that was pure metal that went to 11-6-01 peoria moe, after saying he wouldnt like it, he then turns to me after a 20+min timmy tucker openers with his jaw drop front row and says im totally wrong...
and that was the opener...
Set 1: Timmy Tucker, Letter Home, Crab Eyes, Meat
Set 2: Captain America > Happy Hour Hero > Seat Of My Pants > Waiting For The Punchline Reprise > Waiting For The Punchline > Akimbo > Bring It Back Home
Encore: Godzilla
i just took offense because if you are pure metal doesnt mean you wont enjoy moe. and yes if i misread its cuz he came in my thread after i reach out to coolkev seeing if he wants to see it and says he knows coolkev wouldnt like it? idk tho -
Well, Coolhand is pure metal, and Z was trying to share this with you. If you are truly passionate about music, you will get it. It's a genre thing.
I grew up around some of the best guitar players around; I was 6 years old with sparkler guns at Allman brothers before anyone really knew who they were. "Eat a Peach" RIP.....
Pure Metal players will NOT enjoy MOE. Z was just telling you the truth and you kinda took personal offense to it.
Much love no negativity, you just misread Z-fresh.
Cheers to all of us who love music and feel passionate about it.... -
i mean am i wrong or crazy?
-
My original post was just joking around with CoolHand. The dude bleeds music and appreciates all genres. It actually had nothing to do with OP at all even though I quoted him. He's just on a lot of coke and not thinking straight and made it more about him then was meant to be.
-
Loves the OP's passion, but trying to explain exactly this to him.......

first off i dont like coke much... if its pure maybe ill get down a bit but not really my thing

second if ur joking around and coolhand likes all music, then why wouldnt he like going to a moe show? still dont get it...
my whole point was coolhand said he liked my passion but he didnt like moe. so my next response was why dont you come see moe. live near your hometown and evaluate what coolhand thinks after seeing live?
i took zfresh's 2nd post as he only like metal, he wouldnt like moe? like were u being sarcastic, cuz how could i pick up on your sarcasm?
im heading out but again i hope you can see where i was a bit confused... im drunk whats with all the coke stuff zfresh is that your thing :P -

I'm gonna quit fucking with you, even though I fear you do way too much cocaine, you started a moe./eastbound and down thread, I'm dtf
-
haha i promise u coke isnt my thing...
-
lol what is going on in here
I am definitely metal deep down but I love all things rock. I even love oldies (can actually argue that oldies music was my gateway into rock/metal) and classical music (classical music is hugely influential on metal too). Actually my avatar is one of my favorite bands and Thin Lizzy is definitely not metal (altho they shred)
Yeah Z I'll do that too, just randomly start buying band shirts. I must have 30 black band shirts in my closet. As far as I'm concerned jeans + band shirt will never go out of style but if it does I'm in trouble lol
I was def born in the wrong decade tho should have been born in like 55 but then I'd be way older now so this is better -
Phish and moe. :P
