I like that you only listed the top 20 so we can guess at the remaining five. I'm going to say that the overhyped standard (Notre Dame) is #21.

I don't think they matter much at all right now seeing as they are just based on hype and speculation. The BCS standings come out at a perfect time because we see what these teams are made of a few weeks into conference play.Originally Posted by wantagolf

I just cant stand a sport that is essentially a popularity contest.
No one has played a single game yet, but unless you are in the top 10-on this list, you pretty much have no shot at a national championship. Its dumb. -

Notre Dame wins 9-10 games and ends up ranked in the top 20! Every time they get a new coach they seem to win 10 games in the first year so it's pretty much a lock...lol

yea, but 99% of the games basically mean nothing.
bragging rights between conferences and colleges is about all the sport is played for. Kinda lame to me. -
