Hey guys,
I just got the new Ipad from Apple and so far no success downloading UB or any poker software on this new machine. I've tried crossover and winehq with no success. Was wondering if anyone else has one yet or has been successful running poker software on their Ipad? -
oh no!

People still play online poker? Lol fags

What's an "Ipad"?

Haha, you guys suck... come on!!!!!!!!!! haha

From what i've heard, it is just like the iphone. To play on it, you will need to use a remote-viewer application like Logmein or itap.

Okay I'm trying out VMware Fusion 3... I'll report back here.

Okay, so far no luck with any of the software....
If the mod would like to move this to poker discussion that would be fine with me. I was unsure of whether this was a poker discussion or off topic? -
Here are the one's I've tried so far with no success...
Citrix
Crossover
Wine HQ
VM
Itap
So far no luck... I understand we need to use some virtual desktop software, but getting that software to even download isn't allowed through Safari... I'm about to head over to the Computer Science lab at Portland State. If they can't figure it out, we're all fugged haha. -
First off you 100% cannot download any poker software onto your iPad. The iPad runs an OS similar to the iPhone (if not the same). VM Fusion or Parallels will also not work as those can only be installed on a Mac desktop/laptop. As stated earlier in this thread you will need to use some type of remote desktop connection. I would use LogmeIn as I use that for my iPhone and it works really well and is super easy to set up on both your iPad (assuming the iPad supports the app like the iPhone does) as well as your primary computer.
