    The best thing from the apple press conference yesterday was that iphones are $200 cheaper. Now an 8 gig iphone is the same price as a 16 gig ipod touch.

    i got an iphone when it came out cause it looked cool as a monkey tossin fecies on acid.

    but. i had a palm treo on verizon before that, which i liked. the treo's a solid phone, if your comfortable with all of the treo software, you'll probably like it a lot. the internet browser is decent, (slowish tho), and i had it on verizon which is great, head and shoulders above this at&t bs.

    the iphone is great. i like it a lot better, much more user friendly. texting has a limitation, u cant text multiple ppl at once, and there a couple other peculiar kinks but its overall quite nifty. camera's great. youtube application/googlemap application, weather application are all great. and of course the ipod on its great, i never really got music on my treo, even tho it could take it , cause all my music was in itunes/ipod format, and u need ot convert it for it to work on the treo.

    but the HUGEST difference is the internet browser on the iphone, aside from the fact taht u got the cool new ipod on it. internet brosweser can utilize wifi, and it actually looks like the internet. the picture shit on the iphones cool too.

    since my treo was just one phone on a family plan, and since the actual device was already paid for, i use it as a backup to tether to my laptop when my internet goes out (used it three times this week already), i think the iphone can do that too, but i'm not sure.

    i have no clue about blackberries. if you're more of a bussiness guy i think i'd go for the treo, but otherwise get the iphone. i heard it dropped in price too, but i'm not 100% sure. it definately has kinks, that the treo has worked out over years of bein in the phone bid-naz, but the iphones definately gonna be great in the future, and i like mine a lot

    Apple is getting rid of their 4gb iPhones.

    $299!

    If u want a 8gb iPhone its $399 new or $349 Refurb.

    but I <3 my Treo 750 over the iphone. only because if you have an iphone, you can't have any discounts on your cellphone plan.

    Yeah, I just read about how angry people are who bought the iPhone for $599 when it came out and now it's already $200 cheaper. I think it's hilarious. Stand in line for days, pay top dollar, then get shafted. Awesome.

    I've never even owned a portable CD player much less an iPod. Give me 8-tracks of ABBA over that shiznit anyday.

    I carry around an old Altoids box full of quarters. Whenever someone is on their iphone near me, I take it out and start talking really loud into it. Often times I put it on speakerphone so that I can feel like it is more of a microphone than telephone. I make my own music. My phone can buy Lemonheads and habanero Doritos.
