false...this dude is so fast that people have to play off him. Thats why he can still shoot it from his chest....because he creates the space with his quickness.Originally Posted by voorh33s
because being 5 feet tall and shooting from your chest won't even fly in d3 college ball.
if some dude gets in his grill he is at the rim in a second. Dude plays off 3 feet and he shoot a jump shot from his chest cause quite frankly he can.
Now at the Division I college level he wont be able to create as much space as he did in high school so he will have to improve on that aspect.
This dude right now would literally dominate division 3 basketball -
He probably won't be growing that much. He is a junior, but I think hes almost 19 years old

Aquille is an amazing talent.. He will def be a difference maker at the D1 college level. He was the best player in Baltimore (better then consensus 4 star Nick Faust whos going to Maryland) this year.. And he wont be going to MD not because hes too good or not good enough but bc he has very shaky grades and will prolly have a hard time qualifying. Look for him to go to a Memphis or Cinci type school...

When you're making excuses for why a 5'6 nba pospect shoots from his chest you know you're delisional, get a grip...

Edited By: Prestonluv Aug 27th, 2011 at 09:09 AMi never said he was an nba prospect. I pointed out that even though he shoots from his hip at the high school level he can get away with it because of his speed. At the D I level he will have to adjust but will still fare well because of the rest of his game.Originally Posted by voorh33s

If he were playing D3 hoops at this very moment he would dominate.
No excuse for shooting from the hip. It needs to be improved.
You cannot win every conversation and i am right regarding this one -
He might not be able to play in the NBA but so what? Hes an awesome talent and will be a difference maker at the D1 level.

Also most of the highlights are either AAU or High School and he plays on a very competitive AAU team and in the Baltimore public school league.. His competition is no joke.
.. Hes a 4 star recruit by scout/rivals/espn... All at 5'6 tall lol. Thats pretty sick.. -
I don't know much about high school basketball recruits and all but I do remember a guy shorter than this who also couldn't score and was drafted in the first round of the NBA draft and went on to have a pretty good career. Don't rule him out just because of his size.

Edited By: voorh33s Aug 27th, 2011 at 08:50 PMlol that's fine you can have this one, I was just talking about the nba. I don't know anything about D3 ball that was just an exaggeration for the sake of emphasis.Originally Posted by Prestonluv

Edited By: Prestonluv Aug 27th, 2011 at 08:57 PMyeah..i played at the d3 level in college back in the nineties and let me tell you...most of the players were skilled white boys who could shoot and pass but were more than a step slow. This dude would be a the rim before most of them even turned around(sarcasm).Originally Posted by voorh33s

The level of skill is not much different, but the level of athleticism is what separates d3 players from d2 players from d1 players. That and height if your a big guy..every one is 2-4 inches taller by position in D1. Guards are the only position that height does not play a huge factor in. -
omar epps just called this kid another gangbanger with speed

Vorhees thinks Derek Rose and Chris Paul can't dominate an nba game, so everything he says about basketball isn't worth reading... stop arguing with him Pluv
CP3 Chris Paul
This is my first time seeing this kid Aquille Carr play and I can HONESTLY say I am a fan! Gr8 feel for the game...#Elite24
Guess he's going know where tho.
