  1. Creator Mitch Hurwitz announced yesterday at the AD cast reunion at The New Yorker Festival that AD will come back to TV for 1 season leading into the movie. The plan is:
    • 9-10 episodes, each focusing on 1 character (due to scheduling limitations of the entire cast)
    • No network yet but Hurwitz said they hope to have it air next fall
    • Movie should begin filming next summer

Obv they'll be skepticism but Hurwitz and the cast members have been very evasive of the movie question for years, usually saying things like "I hope it happens," or "we're still planning it." For them to all come out on a united front and give pretty specific details is about as good a sign as a fan could ask for.

  7. Yessss!
  8. From the movie producers of "Sex and the City" and "Sex and the City II", comes the movie anticipated by only a handful of people, the "Arrested Development" movie.

It's been off the air for 5+ years. Other than Bateman and Cera, I'm surprised to hear that anyone else on the show had commitments.

  18. Very very happy, but hedging my jubilation b/c of shooting restraints and time, it probably can't compare to the original 3 seasons. Looking very much forward to it, though

  20. Greatest. News. Ever.

They also said that the rumors Michael Cera was the only hold out were an Andy Kaufman-esque joke the entire time. It just got out of hand when people didn't get it.
