probably the most visually stunning movie i have ever watched. even if you arent a fan of snowboarding, seeing this on blu-ray will change your life. anybody else getting psyched for winter??
-
I use to snowboard about 40x a year, haven't ridden in almost 3 years now. It is so expensive, traded it for travel. Even with a cheap season pass paying for gas to get to the mountain 2x a week was ridiculous. To go to a legit resort requires dropping so much cash
Just seeing the mountains makes me want to ride soo bad. I want to spend a season in Tahoe or Colorado at some point. Maybe both! -
living in colorado is the nuts. even more so that come oct 31st ill be living in the mountains full time.
its already been snowing in the high country, we hiked a 14er a few days ago and had to bust out the spikes bc of snow and ice...it was snowy, windy and cold at the summit. i plan on doing a couple of the more mellow ones this winter and snowboarding down, which i have heard is awesome. -
Just watched this movie and enjoyed it a lot. Went snowboarding for the first time recently in New Zealand and it was much harder than I thought it would be and makes the stuff they did in movie look even more insane.

Watched this movie last night. So fucking amped for the season!
I'm a skier, but I go backcountry and out of bounds at Whistler, hunting for lines like these guys are riding. I live for that shit.
Obviously I'm not pulling inverted 720's and shit, but I'll throw down a fat 3 off a 30 footer with the best of 'em. Holla if you're ever in Whis, OP. -
i have always wanted to go whistler, almost went last winter but i just couldnt swing it. maybe this winter i will finally make it out there. i do a little bit of backcountry stuff here in colorado, nothing too crazy...loveland pass is a lot of fun, you ride down from the top to one of the switchbacks on the road and then you hitchhike back to the top and go again.

Fuck I hate the drink Redbull makes, but goddamn if they don't they epitomize the lifestyle I love.

WOW vid looks insane

Bought this vid as soon as it came out. It's amazing. Travis Rice is the best rider hands down.
I Can't wait for this winter at Bear. It will be my 16th season riding. -
amazing movie i saw a couple days ago.
Im planning 2 snowboarding trips tihs winter..
Gonna go to Massif, QC for 1weekend (rent a big ass cottage with 12 friends)
and also stay in Golden, BC for 12days and wait for snow on KickingHorse :) -
Fou - Kicking Horse is a siiiiick mountain. I hope you like steeps, because it has some awesome big pitch terrain up there. Highly recommend hiking T2 if it's open, the view will blow your mind.
I broke my thumb there last year (end of the following video, if you're curious)
