    This is a message for ANYONE that is using or planning to use cocaine. This is not tailored to the addicts, but to EVERYONE, INCLUDING THE OCCASSIONAL USER. I have had several 'friends of friends' die in recent weeks due to overdose. I am writing this after recieving an obituary in the mail from a family member in Minnesota. Their deaths resulted, not in the typical overdose of the drug, but in the overdose of the cutting agent FENTANYL. Fentanyl in 50-100 times stronger than morphine, so it doesn't take much! This cutting agent is being found in heroin and cocaine all over the country right now. Sometimes it is 'ordered' intentionally by the user, but in many cases not even the street dealers are aware that it is in the ingredients. People are DYING EVERYDAY USING COCAINE IN "TYPICAL" NON-LETHAL AMOUNTS. THE FENTANYL makes the amounts necessary for a lethal overdose MUCH, MUCH, LESS!! Please google some of these terms and look for yourselves. A "1/16" may NO LONGER BE, "SAFE." As a former cokehead I realize this amount [1/16 or a 'teener'] is NOTHING! Unfortunately this NOW could be enough to kill a few people. very sad. Please everyone be careful. PASS THIS MESSAGE ON!

    One last thing: Paramedics are able to administer treatment for the overdose of Fentanyl--BUT THEY HAVE TO KNOW THAT THE VICTIM INGESTED THE DRUGS.

    YEA...THEY'RE USING IT AS CUT!!! REALLY PISSES ME OFF! I DON'T USE ANYMORE--I DIDN'T HAVE THE PERSONALITY TO BE AN OCCASSIONAL USER. If I didn't know people persnally whom have died I would have chalked this up to be some type of b.s. scare tactic...........BUT IT'S NOT!!

    Yea, they are. But to me it doesn't make sense. Fentanyl can't be cheap and the last time I checked dealers were cutting to make more money....not less.

    Yeah..that's why I questioned it. NYT confirms your story, though. But it doesn't give insight into how widespread the practice is. My condolences on the loss of your family member.

    I would 98% guarantee the people cutting this aren't doing it as a cut. They probably get decent blow and put this shit in and try to pass it off as 100$ a gram shit.

    In Columbia they call me....they don't call me anything in Columbia. But I've done plenty of blow. I laid off it after I lost my brother in February to smack (something I've never touched and never will.)

    My DARE officer was shot and killed halfway through the year, and we had to get a new one. He wasn't as good as the first guy.

    I know where I work, we have seen an increase in Heroin laced with Fentanyl, Overdose fatalities went up when it started coming around. The crazy thing was that the demand for the laced heroin went up. It was killing people and the addicts still wanted the "good stuff"

    I have not heard much about coke being laced with fentanyl. I would assume that it is being laced, not cut with Fentanyl. Fentanyl was to expensive to be used as a cutter.

    edit. coke is something everyone should try once....just from experience its definatly something ppl need to try in there life time just make sure not to get hooked

    coke is not for people who have addictive personalities (me)... I've never tried it because I know I will like it (like my older brother the fuck up coke head) and want to do it again... I would never let myself get addicted but the shit causes too many problems to just feel good for a nite... plus the come down is a bitch from what I see, alot of my friends used to do the shit and nothing about it appealed to me...

    I have done my fair share of coke for the entire OT community and I am over it. I am not saying I wont do it again because I know I will. But it can be a lot of fun, the come down can be a bitch but tyenol pms have helped. I just hate staring at my ceiling for hours upon hours. Plus its the only drug i've done that makes me impotent so thats a big negative. But I have had some of the best converstions on coke. Whatever F coke, xanax and weed is good enough for meeeeeeeeeeee.................................
