    Anyone ever own one? Pros/Cons?

    Thinking about getting one towards the end of the summer when my schedule is better. My old roomie has a weimaraner and he's a handful. I'm not really looking for anything with that kind of energy/destructive behavior. Thanks in advance

    They're arguably the greatest dogs in the world. They have no negative drawbacks, and as an added bonus, everyone doesn't already own one, like a golden retriever or labrador. So you don't see 'em that often.

    My old roommate had one with our hybrid wolf and husky, they're extremely intelligent dogs and very friendly and trainable. Awesome dogs for sure.

    #1 dog. I am on my 5th. He is supposed to be a mini, but he is a little overweight at 45 lbs.

    They love to run and love the water. They will scare you at how smart they are.
