    Cant find a confirmation. You probably came across the same thing a friend of mine did earlier this week. He was posting to his facebook that adam sandler died in a snowboard accident

    Just released a new single that she performed in NYC last night.

    So unless she performed, left right away and chartered a flight to Vancouver, I doubt this is real.

    There have also apparently been other hoaxes of her dying as well...if you google "avril lavigne dead" or something similar, you will see stories from 2006 and 2007.
