man, I'm at 3200+ posts and been here since May of aught 5 and I'm not even halfway there.
I also think its mighty impressive that DumbWalrus was ban-hammered so many times but is still in the top 3.
He's like the Babe Ruth of posts. He started so long ago that most don't even remember him in his prime anymore. Wowswift is like Aaron in that people knew she had a lot of posts but thought she accumulated them over a long period of time, and Slugger is like Bonds with the pics that have roided his total number up. -

the wikipedia articles are not posts for good writing but posts to inform thoroughly and quickly on a topic which not all readers may be familiar with
if i edited them, then people would be accusing me of trying to alter the content or mislead
once again reading for a couple of minutes is not too terrible of a task . if a particular reader does not want to read the article, it takes like five seconds at most to scroll past it. -

maybe, but they'd be wrong. I usually quote the most relevant lines then give the link. The really long ones are a pain to scroll through.
