Bad texting ended my friendship

    So I need a little help here boys and girls. ( ill try and make this as short as possible )....

    .....so I have this friend ( a girl ) that I have known @ work and we have strong feelings for each other that we have put aside for the better of our friendship. We have grown to be close friends and have shared everything together. I have jumped through hoops for this girl to be by here side when she has needed me the most, and to be honest she is not always there for me in return . She is a very attractive girl who needs constant attention from men to boost her self esteem. Very flaky girl.

    Long story short....the only thing I have asked her to do is be a better texter, and communicator in our friendship. I went off on her for not responding to texts from continuious days from last week ( because of her flakiness ), and she basically doesn't wanna deal with it . She says it very elementry to get mad over such a small issue, and to some degree she has a point, but if there is one thing i cant stand its bad communicators. How wrong am i here?

    im needy with the texts. im a texting whore and she doesnt like to text at all. bad combo there. The real question is ........should texting ever get in the way of a friendship, and i overblowing this whole texting issue?

    I don't disagree that the op is in the friend zone, but don't see how you got from the story that she is a bitch.

    I had a very similar situation. Then I realized I was being a bitch and instead of staying in the friend zone i just stopped doing stuff with her or responding to her.
    If you like a girl and she insists on keeping you in the friend zone just move on. There really are a shit ton of hot girls out there. Play your next hand better imo.

    Everyone texts at different levels especially girls you have to deal with it.. And don't call yourself a text whore if you are a dude.

    If I were you I would stop all contact with her for a couple few months, then throw a hail mary and re establish contact again.. If she actually acknowledges you play it 100% differently then you did the first time and see what happens.. If nothing then move on again.
