bank robberies-(charlestown influenced) how would you do it?

    Im still hyped on that movie after seeing it a week ago. So me and my gf were talking about it. How would you get awa with it?

    Full storm special forces attack?
    hat tucked low and a note to a teller (obv a little more small time)?
    wait in line?
    shoot a teller to say "im not fucking around"

    and aftermath-
    shoot at the cops?
    surrender and pull your 5-9 (assuming no one was hurt and you are a first offender)?
    suicide cuz 9 years is a long time in the thuderdome?

    Cash-
    what do you do with it if you got away-
    dig a hole?
    mattress?
    vegas?
    buy a 10 kilos of coke and tripple up?

    pick a bank in a smallish town, but with decent $ in it. also it would be near water. have a smallish boat ready. prob go in with like 3 people, guns, not shoot anyone, maybe rough some people up. get $, get to boat and go out into water. boat would have explosives on it and those underwater things u hold on to and the motor u around. get out into water, open up hatch in boat, swim out and blow up boat.

    would maybe do something similar where i take a hostage and bring them to a house. house would have tunnel out, then do same type of thing taking the tunnel out and making it a fake hostage situation, giving time to get away to a tropical island.

    That is a pretty high budget operation you got goin on there. In heat all they needed was some scars and automatic weapons. U spent more on the plan than you took.

    i remember seeing on tv a person who would take hostage one of the tellers families and slip them a note saying give me money or they die

    thats what i would do

    if caught i would just give up tell them everything and do my time

    so it goes like this, get group of 3/4 other dudes, scout bank/pick teller, get info on teller
    go into bank and hide in previously scouted blind spot waiting for teller in question to be wide open, slip note, get money, gtfo hide a couple days

    dont know if i would give the other dudes the money or kill them, most likely kill them tho

    easy i would paint myself black so the cops would be looking for a black guy.

    i read about some guy who robbed a bunch of banks somewhere...the cops were looking for a black guy...turns out the dude was white and had been a professional makeup artist in hollywood at one point. pretty brilliant imo.

    its not that expensive, is it. i guess i dont know how much we getting from heist, but in the boat scenario, i guess i would i would sub gasoline for explosives and maybe just get scuba gear instead of the motorized underwater things.

    could just rent a house for a month, for house thing, under a fake name.

    I think most of you are overestimating how much money the bank actually will have/how much you can actually get before the cops are on you. With a note, a couple K? Full on take over the bank smash and grab style, 100K if you're lucky, plus a lot more time, and the cops should be there on your way out. Try for a bigger score, and you might as well plan on shooting your way out.

    That said, the note is probably the way to go, but is the reward really worth the risk?
