Barcelona suggestions

    Going to Barcelona for a few days next week and looking for some tips. Anyone have any good restaurants, bars, sites, things to do, etc that I should do while I'm there? Staying on Las Ramblas and will be there for 4 nights...first time going to Spain.

    Went a few years ago, go to a barcelona game and hit up the Del Mar area for bars/nightlife. Dont really have any eating suggestion as we just drank pretty much the 5 days we were there.

    Go check out ALL the Gaudi stuff, especially park guill....take a tour of the nou camp stadium, you get to walk on the pitch at the end. go to the del mar area, tons of bars, etc etc

    someone had a thread not too long ago about Barcelona.

    Look it up, there were some good ideas in there. I went on a pub crawl/party bus thingy there with 2 buddies that ended up at a haunted castle (turned into a nightclub) on top of a cliff overlooking the coast. Was fucking epic.

    I suggest you pronounce "Barcelona' with a bit of a lisp. Almost like "Bothelona". Practice makes perfect.

    Go Up to the top of Familia Sagrada

    Great pics, wish I could get the upgrade but I jumped on some really cheap tickets ($315 RT from Chicago!) and it's not my normal airline.

    Thanks for all the suggestions...will definitely be hitting up everything Gaudi as everyone suggests. Wish I could get to a Barcelona match, but they are playing at Valencia that Sunday and I won't have time to make a sidetrip. Going to look into that nou camp tour though

    Also, they have these Richaws that are a fun way to get around. Make sure yo go to the market and the main 'open town square'. I don't know what they call it but there are restaurnats, shops and street performers. Easy to kill a day there and entertaining.
