giants actually finish a three-game sweep. woot!
ps go cubs ffs! -
As an Angels fan, if the Halos don't make it to the World Series, I really hope we get an A's/Pirates World Series. To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing the Reds or Nats come out of the NL either.

OKAY U TOOK IT TOO FAR

As the chances of Boston making the world series are fading daily, I would have no problem with a Pittsburgh/Oakland matchup. In fact, it would be good for baseball. I'd also be fine with the Reds, Nats, or someone from the AL Central (preferably Chicago). The only team I would openly root against would be NYY. Doubt there would be much self loathing over two small market teams who no one gave credit to before the season started.

It's got to be slightly hard to really root against the pirates unless you root for a team in the NL central.
I mean really, I'm 24 years old. The last time we had a winning season I was 5. I don't even remember that shit. I appreciate that other people would appreciate one of the worst teams in baseball over the last 20 years actually succeeding.
On another note, don't really care if Walker is the best 2b in the NL or if he will be. He's solid and I'm glad as fuck we've got him on our team. Symantecs though I suppose.
Glad Cutch got a homer today, didn't realize it had been around 2 weeks since his last one.
Also, thank you to yankees fans for shitting on Burnett. I made a $500 bet at the beginning of the season with a yankees fan, I took Burnett and 15 wins provided he stayed healthy and pitched over 200 innings. I think i'm safe to assume i'm going to win that bet now. Weeee.
Ps. I'm drunk. -

Yeah, he actually is getting pretty fucking lucky.
Seriously tho, the guy hit .280 as a 21 year old, slumped a bit in his 2nd year which is fully expected at such a young age, then was dealing with being yanked (cwidt?) in and out of the lineup his 3rd season. He then matched his rookie season OPS as a 24 year old. Just as he's prepared to make the progression he then gets dealt to Atlanta in the Javy Vazquez trade and struggles a bit with adjusting to a new league, and playing in a drastically different city. The following year he signs back into the AL with Kansas City, and has his breakout season at the age of 26. The career trajectory doesn't seem that crazy when factoring everything in.
And in terms of his BABIP, while yes, he could be on the lucky side to some degree this year, there is also no doubt that he is hitting the ball way more solidly than he had early in his career as a kid; he went from a career high of 42XBH in his best season to a total of 67 XBH last year, which could reasonably show that he is making different contact with the ball as he matures. -
Gunned another guy down at the plate yest. So lucky!
F qw and mupp, go giants! -
Os have a 10 game homestand. They finish 7-3 or better theyre in good shape. If they finish worse season over.

so do yankees fans still think nova is good ?
they're really gonna need to hit the crap out of the ball in the postseason. -
OT is the devil.
That is all. -
Nova ain't gonna pitch in the playoffs
