  1. Homerun Derby participants: Robinson Cano, Prince Fielder, Jose Bautista and Mark Trumbo represent the American League and Matt Kemp, Carlos Gonzalez, Carlos Beltran and Andrew McCutchen. Who you got?

Might be the most boring few days in pro sports.

Trumbo has the most power, but I could see him having a tough time getting into a good rhythm. I'm taking Cano.

also he is a lefty, wind generally blows out to left field in KC, so I expect it be a right handed batter that wins.

My pick is Beltran, he can pick which side to hit from based on the wind and exactly where it ends up going.

  7. Good article on McCutchen and Trout:

  8. Here is a picture of Andrew McCutchen's home run spray chart. It shows where the pitches were in the strike zone, and where the balls went into the stands. This is a thing of beauty:

  9. yea he sure was spraying them all over kauffman last night....

  10. so who you all got for MVP's?

im prob gonna put like 20 bucks on 7 or 8 guys. kinda like beltre, chipper, ortiz, holliday, wright, votto, bourn, ruiz. has a pitcher ever won mvp? id think itd be hard, even if they go like 2 ip 5ks 0 hits, dunno if that outshines a game winning hit or something.

  11. Chipper gonna Ripken

  13. For MVP Votto seems like a good selection because the NL has Bryan LaHair behind him, and Votto should play 7 innings.

  15. Gives me shivers seeing that much talent on one field.
  16. holy shit this dude sings the national anthem slow
  17. Wait, did TLR have the option to pick Cutch to be the DH, but chose CarGo instead?

  18. Panda with a triple and Verlander must be fucking Kate too much cause he's getting rocked.

  19. Panda MVP if this holds up
  20. Giants baby!

    2-2 with 3 Runs and 3 RBIs.
  21. Justin Verlander: Good Job! Good Effort!!
  22. Looks like Washington should have gone with Weaver or Sale.

  23. say whatever you want, you're an idiot tho if you don't start JV. stop being so results orientated. Dude is def the best pitcher in baseball, just had a shitty outing. The only arguement that can be made is that JV usually struggles in the first two innings, but at the same time whenever he comes in its going to feel like the first two innings to him, so it really doesn't matter.

  24. ONE TIME let Cutch hit a triple so he can show off his speed, then flash the Z sign from third base. Pittsburgh will explode.

  25. if anyone is wondering, i need 7 hits from the Al to get a bingo in the MLB game. idk what i win, but get it done AL.

in other news, fuck pablo. picked 9 players to win mvp...he was not one of them. lookin like a lock right now unless the AL comes back to win

  26. Matt Harrison pitching to Melky Cabrera, this is what the ASG is all about
  27. woot.
