yeah i know a's have rough schedule and rangers play indians/seattle coming up I think. Can't find odds anymore so no way to hedge. A's have been doing it all year, just need 3 more weeks.

Phil's are only 6 games back in the WC and have remaining series against Miamix2, Astros, Lolmets, washx2 and Atlanta. Atl should be a tough series but expecting wash to already have the east locked up.
Can the Phils actually make the WC? -

I get a salary at my full time job that I also work, but I am not willing to put that up on gambling.
You seem sort of nervous by throwing out what I assume is an attempted insult by mentioning the fact that I work at a restaurant, which is understandable. If my team was tanking so hard, I'd be pretty nervous too. -

Pros:
-They've won 5 straight and 8 out of 10.
-They have a fairly easy* schedule down the stretch.
-The pitching has been lights out the last 2 months (including Kyle Kendrick who has been pretty dominant his last 4 starts).
Cons:
-They don't ahve and H2H matchups with the teams they are trying to catch (except, if you include ATL but they seem to be too far ahead).
-The bullpen still scares the ever living shit out of me.
*I say easy as in I believe they should win, based on how they are playing compared to the teams left on their schedule. The phils could certainly come crashing back to their beginning of the season form.
To say they have no shot is pretty stupid, it's a tough tough road ahead to make it, but hey, why the fuck not AMIRITE? TMLMS needs to stick to library updates/hockey. -
