found this link where Gammons talked a bit about it today.
"Also, could New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano be heading towards a suspension for performance enhancing drugs?
“I heard something about it about three weeks ago and like a lot of things, I never gotten any confirmation. Now people are very careful letting any information out, so I mean these things do circulate. The one that turned out to be true, but again I could never get confirmation and I was told by about six sources for five weeks was Melky Cabrera. I’m not sold on the Cano thing yet, especially because the Scott Boras clients are very careful.” -
Scott Boras clients are very careful....
what happened in Arod's case? -
It's probably out there cause Melky and he are buddies. Doubt there's anything to them
-
they should test everyone in that Yankee clubhouse, buncha fucking cheats over there
-
I'm gonna sum up all your posts concerning baseball.

The Giants are great, everybody else sucks.
That's basically it. Literally -
you know me all too well
-
Report is out of Boston.
O rly -
Sandoval just putting a beatdown on Colorado today. Oh, and now MVPosey goes back to back. This team is so fucking great, going all the way, lock that shit up right now. Everyone else sucks.
-
Anyone else find it weird that Miguel Cabrera had a better year last year yet nobody was beating the drum for him for MVP?
-
Phil's scored 4 in the first and had the bases loaded and still no outs....pitcher pulled, currently 7-0 still in the top 1st with 2 outs...no extra base hits either, all singles, one walk and one HBP
-

-
Are shot is super thin now. Losing those games agaisnt the Astros killed us.

We have to hold on to this game, then go 8-4 whille the Cards go 4-8, with everyone else ahead of us shitting the bed too. And that would just cause a playoff.
Sigh. -
Yeah its def a super long shot, I just enjoy beating the pies outta the Mutts....heading to Philly sports bar for the football game to see the ex tend bar, hopefully I get lucky tonight
-

If the phillies win out they are in, so they should just win every fuckin game. would be worth it just to see QW's head explode. -
phils go on a 12 game streak right now and that would be fucking disgusting lol.
Obv rooting for it, but I cant be a super homer until were with in a game or two. -
yes, slippin indeed. it's almost game time
-
Ha, I don't remember anyone saying anything about his DUI when they were talking about his MVP candidacy. But if that was the case, wouldn't the same hold true this year?
-
Great read about the MVP race.

i may have been off a little, but true odds were closer to mine than yours. idc how good davols is with numbers, no way with a 3 game lead were the cardinals 7.7-1 faves, when if both miss its a push.
-
ya im sure everyone was gonna come out and say "i would have voted for him, but i didnt like the circumstances surrounding his dui, so im not now". Of course its not going to be made public, theres too much to lose for the voters if they were perceived as 'biased'. The Verlander campaign gained steam and to prevent splitting the vote, Cabrera was kind of swept under the rug. At least that's the impression I got.

Enough time has passed now that its a distant memory for a lot of people. Just like there may be voters who would vote for Braun but dont this year because the steroid controversy is still too fresh in everyones mind. -
You dont actually believe this do you? You seriously think writers are going to miss a chance to stand on the soapbox over an off-the-field issue? And none of this changes the fact that Cabrera had a better year last year.
