  1. September callups sgould be arriving on your team soon. Teams that are out of the wildcard race can rest their starters and get their rookies a few at bats.
The Jays have been playing their minor leaguers all year, so not much will change for them.

And seriously. what's up with Romero? His last start lasted 3 outs, with 7 earned.
  2. Cueto gave up 4 runs today, Lohse has NL Cy Young locked up now.
  3. The O's are only one game behind the Yankees. I've been waiting for them to fade, but it hasn't happened.

  5. The Pirates are collapsing, and now have an outside shot at finishing below .500. They could turn it around against this soft schedule and get back in the WC race.

Forget it. Arizona with the re-melt, and the giants with a huge comeback win. LA got to watch the whole thing on the jumbotron at dodger stadium, lol fuck those wannabes...

Simple, too many walks, and doesn't have the strike out power to get out of the jams himself.
  8. I've always hated how the callups nullify the edge teams with quality lefty specialists have. Now everyone has a few extra righty bats on the end of the bench.

I'm fine with callups, but teams should have to specify a 25-man roster before the game.

  14. What do Jays fans think about Rasmus now? Still staying out late on game nights no problem for you?
  15. Giants and a's both 4.5 up in their divisions in september. Totally called it preseason...

He needs to grow up. He has all the skills to be an allstar, but potential doesn't get you very far in the bigs.

Pretty sure krs is anti-homer. Never heard him mention the twinkies all season.

  22. ozzie screws up the 7th, will cost me. Fuck I hate him.
  23. The O's are trying to make that run differential much smaller tonight. Can't believe I care about O's baseball in september. Been a LONG time. Usually, I am in complete football mood by now

  24. Here is where Los Doyers are getting the money to pay him ...

  25. that's my point, he is just clueless. qw has an excuse

  26. KRs isn't clueless, he makes good points about Cueto, it's just some pitchers can't be measured by advanced metrics and need to be observed on a start to start basis to understand their brilliance. Cueto is a beast.

He's having a fantastic year, he's increased his strikeouts and cut his walks. No doubt that he's been one of the best in baseball. In his previous seasons, I still think he was quite overrated.
  28. well I said he was getting better every year and I'm not sure how he could be overrated when nobody counts him among the elite and he didn't even make the all-star team this year. He is obv way underrated. He has given up ONE stolen base this year too, do you include that in your metrics? I just like how you still can't admit you were wrong and every time I look into one of these threads you are yapping about stuff you know nothing about.
