    OU owns the Pokes in the Bedlam series, as one would expect. But OSU squeezes out an occasional win, and I suspect this is a year to for it to happen again. OU has suffered a number of injuries this season, with the latest being the loss of top NFL wide receiver prospect Ryan Broyles. OSU has had an extra week to recover from shattering loss at Ames, and refocus on beating the Sooners and a BCS berth. Last game in Stillwater before Justin Blackmon takes his talents to the NFL.

    7 PM CST kickoff tonight!

    got okst -3.5 and need them to beat oklahoma so Mich can jump up a couple spots to make a BCS game. go pokes! (is that right?)

    If osu wins they have a legitimate case for the nc but bama probably goes.

    If osu wins by 15 plus points than osu deserves nc game and might even jump bama


    Either way it proves why bcs fails. We should never be having this discussion

    The discussion belongs with the last seed to get into tourney.

    I know a few on here like bcs..

    Agree with Pluv wholeheartedly and anyone who likes the BCS I just really don't take srsly b/c they are as u said wrong and their opinion no longer matters

    Bama ha 2 top 20 wins

    They both have 7 ttop 40 wins

    Bama wins by 27 on avg
    Osu wins by 23 on avg

    Osu has much higher sagariin rating

    Everyone agrees sec is down this year.

    But they lost to iowa state

    Either way i dont think either team is a clear cut choice for nc

    Lost to to Iowa State the week the above happened. Fuck a rematch. Until a playoff is in place, you shouldn't get to play for a national anything if you don't win your conference. Obviously doesn't mean it won't happen now, and it's happened before, but that doesn't make it any more fair for teams not in the SEC. If this were college basketball, OSU would already have a higher ranking than Bama based on the stats posted above. Guess we'll just have to see what happens tomorrow, assuming OSU finishes this blowout off of course.

    Yeah you look at wins; I look at losses. And shame what happened to OSU re: plane crash deaths, but stuff that doesn't happen directly on the field will never factor in my decision making. Harsh reality, but that's just how it is, and how I believe it should be. And I'd say the same if the shoe were on LSU's foot fwiw.

    Your old enough to remember the total BS we had before the BCS. I like the BCS better that the way the bowls were before it.


    I mean in 1988 #1 ND played #3 WV in the Fiesta Bowl. We use to get games where #1 and #2 werent even matched up.

    In 1989 #1 Colorado played #4 ND in the Orange Bowl.

    That was the catalysis to bring in the BCS, to fix it.

    The system was SOOOOO much more fucked up before the BCS.

    I agree 100% its now time to change so this isnt perfect either, but we still have to wait for the contract to be up in 2013. It sucks to read every person calling the system fucked up when its much better than before.
