    Me and 4 other friends will be visiting Lake Tahoe for 2 nights during our month trip around California and Nevada.

    What are some of your recommendations for places to lodge on the lake? Preferably looking for affordable places with a young crowd that are situated relatively close to the lake. Only problem we are faced with is that we aim to be there on 4th of july and either the night before or after so we understand that prices are going to be higher.

    Any input is greatly appreciated!

    Edit: also we are looking for the beaches and not the skiing, so the good hot weather is important :)

    lakeside casino is cheap and fun, make sure and be in south lake if youre looking to party. id probably troll craigsist and rent a shitty house in little mexico (any street intersecting with ski run blvd)

    also hotels.com is hot farts... you should book asap cause the whole town fills up that weekend

    lol at finding anything in tahoe for July 4th weekend in May, let alone something affordable on the beach.

    casino is probably only thing you're going to find...
