i fuck with E-40 best in the car with that bass turned to the max

LOL! So he writes 2 bars on it, and now it acceptable to jack another man's creativity? It's not like it was once, or twice, or even three times. It's like 20+. It's not only BIG...it's Pac, Slick Rick, Snoop, etc, etc, etc...

Lol, I love me some ncj, mostly because I disagree with him on everything, think we both live in SF..but mainly just because he's so confident he's right, that's y I never openly argue with him, not to mention his Internet debating skills are far more refined than mine. -
Fabolous

Nasir Jones.

Something crazy about Scarface that was pretty shocking when I was told. I had to check for myself. Scarface has never gone Platinum!

I was also shocked nobody voted for the black elvis Kool Keith.
Kool Kieth is always gona be one of a kind. He's definitely in my top ten. No way I could ever pick one to be the best. -

geoff moore outshined u all in this thread. slug is a master lyricist, lotta levels in this thread but the ppl that actually think jay z and nas are the best rappers need to use some Q-tips. my fav nowadays and top 5 hands down is Sean Price, guy takes hip hop to a new level, ill give one example, just youtube his shit if u dont know bout him, he was in heltah skeltah years ago.

also props to the poster who mentioned Brother Ali, hes also in my top 5 along with smiff n wesson and their whole crew
sorry guys there is more to hip hop than the mainstream garbage u hear on the radio -
Fuck Cam'Ron that guy is lowlife drug addicted mook.

Easy:
They spit that fire yall. Reminds me of MF DOOM with that sick flow and the way they put dumb shit on their faces. Easily the best out there right now.
And they're not white ok, they are clown (shoe) colored -
That track was actually put together before the Cam/Jay beef...it wasn't until the beef that Cam did his voice over on this track. I've heard the original version without Cam, years ago. Which just means Jay's biting resume is like 3-4 album more.
Altho Cam does make me lol...dude is funny as fuck.
"Heyo, I'd advise you to step-son/
Before I fuck yo moms, and make you my step-son/
You'll be calling me dad!"
"When I hit that spot, why you ain't tell me nothing?/
I swear to god tho, I thought it was your belly button/
Nope...it was the bottom of your pussy-hole/
Her legs shakin' like she tryna do the tootsie-roll/"
Cam's got classic lines. -
where as i agree with you what has he done lately?
clearly that matters to everyone now. not like illmatic and it was written are amazing or anything
also, how does snoop doggy dogg still get work?
looooooooool -
I believe the correct answer is this song

sad....When the message and beat both go hard, that's my fav hip hop...Beats are good n all..but for me, I'll take a lyricist over a catchy beat and a peice of shit rapper ANYDAY!!
