The more obscure the better - if it is a super bowl or something we have all seen than don't post about it. Pics or Video is better but I couldn't find any of this. I'm almost positive Reggie Bush was playing for Helix in this game as well. This was played at Cox Arena at SD State for the San Diego High School Championships.
After Escondido missed the shot at the end of the game the entire helix fan base charged the court, a few thousand, but the refs made them all get off - took a few min - and put .5 sec on the clock.
The Helix Highlanders were up 5 after the first quarter, 15-10. They were up 3 at the half (36-33). They had a horrible third quarter and Escondido took the lead for the entire second half, holding roughly a 9 gap between themselves and Helix. Then with about 3 minutes left in the game Helix closed to within 2 points. And to top it off with 30 seconds left Helix took back the lead. The hard work of the Highlanders had brought them back into the game.
Helix was then up by 2 and it looked like Escondido had one last chance to tie the game with 20 seconds left. They did get a shot off but missed, the ball was tipped in the air a few times, and an Escondido player gained possession. He took a wild shot from the base line as time expired, but was too late and missed. It looked like Helix had won the championship. But it wasn't over yet...
Helix players were still cheering when the officials stopped them and said someone called time out with 0.5 seconds left in the game. They asked all of the fans to get off of the court and gave Escondido the ball. Escondido inbounded the ball to Lorenzo Keeler, their hottest player of the game, and he made masterful 3-point shot from the right corner.
An unbelievable finish with the final score Escondido 60 Helix 59. -

I have seen (2) of Greg Maddux's complete games pitched that the pitch counts were under 90. When he was in his prime it was just sick how much command he had.

Winter Classic in 2008 was one of a kind experience with 70,000 hockey fans going crazy in the snow standing the entire game (until 12 days from now lol)
I was 7 years old and at the Game Joe Carter hit a walk off HR to win the World Series which has only happened like 2 or 3 times in history??i think -
Nice, I got to see Maddux's last game - game 5 of this years dodgers/phillies playoff series. Still got the job done even as an old man, the crowd still loved him too.
Got to see Bud Smith no hit the Padres one time too. I started callin for it after the 2nd inning too was so funny to see it actually happening. By the end everyone was just cheering for the no-no because the pads sucked so bad. -

whole gymnasium is dead silent n stunned as the quiniipiac players run out of the gym.
if any1 saw this was on SC's top ten college halfcourt shots this week......#5 i think -

It's a little hard to read but the score is Florida 64 Alabama 63 at the start of the clip. I was sitting right behind the goal where the madness happened. When Earnest Shelton threw that pass/shot/prayer everyone was like OH NO HE AIRBALLED and then out of nowhere Antoine Pettway comes in and saves the day. This was to win the SEC Championship of the regular season that year. Obv I stormed the court. Such a crazy, crazy good game. -
Back in the late 70's, took my wife to Montreal for a weekend and ended up scoring tickets to the old Montreal Forum to see the Habs against the Rangers. The Rangers had just recently signed Ulf Nilsen and Anderrs Hedberg, possibly the first big name Europeans to come into the NHL. I can remember Hedberg crossing the blue line and put a move on the Habs defencemen that left the guy standing still with his dick out. Was a geat game.

I saw Millwood throw a no hitter on the Phillie Phanatics Bday, the aformentioned famous "THEY STOP 'EM AGAIN" on 4th and 1 after a BS 2 minute warning call, the famous Freddy Mitchell 4th and 26 catch, and when Michael Irvin ended his career.
All better (with exception to the Irvin) then Jordan dropping 55. I've also seen AI drop more then that -
On Thanksgiving Day in 1992 or 93 I saw the Phoenix Roadrunners IHL team come back from a 3 goal defecit with barely over a minute left in the third period. I cant' even recall if they won or lost in the overtime but I remember the comeback.

I was at the Cleveland Browns vs Buffalo Bills snow game from the 2007 NFL season...wasn't a great game, but I've never been to an extreme weather football game like that since I live in Charlotte, NC.
The experience itself of ridiculous snowfall during a tailgate and then at the actual game was pretty awesome. We were dressed like we were heading up the mountain to go skiing. -

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- Hard to believe a little ol' monkey could have done all this.
The Anaheim Angels were trailing by five runs in the seventh inning and the victory platform was all set up in the Giants' clubhouse, ready for speeches and crazy champagne showers.
Then the Rally Monkey started jumping around the scoreboard, and what followed was the greatest World Series comeback ever by a team facing elimination.
Troy Glaus lined a two-run double after a key misplay by Barry Bonds in the eighth, capping a crazy rally that lifted the Angels over San Francisco 6-5 Saturday night and sending the Series to Game 7.
"I knew this team -- all it needs is a little spark," Scott Spiezio said after his three-run homer got things going. "To have the fans behind you, they never gave up. If it takes the Rally Monkey to get them going a little bit more, we love it."
After he homered again, Bonds had it right in his hands -- the ball, the game, the championship.
But then it all slipped away as he bobbled Garret Anderson's single near the left field line and fell. With the chimp going ape, Glaus' go-ahead hit off Robb Nen capped the Angels' surge from a 5-0 deficit.
"That thing was showing again, wasn't it?" Giants outfielder Tom Goodwin said. "It's crazy, but whatever works for them. I mean, who knows if they believe in it, or whatever? But the fans surely get riled up."
Spiezio's homer in the seventh made it 5-3 and Darin Erstad's leadoff shot started the rally in the eighth.
"There's no room for fear here, or else you're going to go home," Spiezio said. "We battle until the last out of the game. Until they kick us out of the park and say you've got to go home, we're not giving up."
Give credit to that Rally Monkey, too. Because once the pesky primate showed up, the Angels and the sellout crowd of 44,506 would not be denied.
"This is, without a doubt, his biggest moment," said Angels entertainment manager Peter Bull, who operates video of the mascot. "The success of the monkey is nothing without the players and their ability to come back."
The whole thing left many believing the monkey has mystical powers. And it wasn't surprising -- look at what the underdog Angels did to the New York Yankees and Minnesota in the playoffs.
Never before had a team trailing by five runs and facing Series elimination come back to win. Clubs had come back from four runs, but nothing like this.
Now, Bonds gets one final chance at the only prize that has eluded him. A bad omen for him -- of the last seven Game 7s in the Series, the home team has won every time.
"There was confidence, definitely," Giants manager Dusty Baker said. "But the game was not over. That was a heck of a comeback by them."
On Sunday night, in a fitting wrapup to baseball's first all wild-card World Series, either San Francisco or Anaheim will win its first title. It'll be Livan Hernandez starting for the Giants against rookie John Lackey.
Ramon Ortiz had been scheduled to start for the Angels, but the tendinitis in his right wrist made them leery.
"It's pretty cool," Lackey said. "I'm excited. I'm going to go as hard as I can and as long as I can and see what happens."
Reliever Brendan Donnelly was the Game 6 winner and Troy Percival pitched the ninth for his second save of the Series.
Tim Worrell took the loss. For Nen, it was a familiar sight -- the Rally Monkey made its debut at Anaheim on June 6, 2000, and on that day, the Angels rallied to beat the Giants reliever in the bottom of the ninth.
Unstoppable at the plate, Bonds hit his fourth home run of the Series, a solo shot in the sixth off Francisco Rodriguez that made it 4-0. When Kenny Lofton scored in the seventh, the World Series trophy was clearly in the Giants' grasp behind the shutout pitching of Russ Ortiz.
But the resilient Angels and their fans never gave up, never left the building -- though they also play in Southern California, this isn't a Dodgers crowd.
The monkey started hopping in the sixth and by the seventh, the Giants had pulled Ortiz. Spiezio greeted reliever Felix Rodriguez with his homer, and the momentum had turned.
Erstad's homer was the fourth of the game and 21st of the Series, setting a record. The drive also set the Angels' main man, their monkey, into hysterics.
Tim Salmon followed with a single and was replaced by pinch-runner deluxe Chone Figgins. Anderson looped a single down the left-field line and Figgins, running all the way, sped to third.
But when Bonds bobbled the ball and dropped it -- he's past his prime as a Gold Glove -- Anderson took second. Baker opted for his relief ace, yet Nen could not stop the rising storm as Glaus doubled to the gap in deep left-center.
Bonds also dropped that ball as he tried to pick it up. Glaus did not advance, but he didn't need to because the damage already was done.
Shawon Dunston curled a drive over the low fence in the left-field corner for a two-run homer that broke a scoreless tie in the fifth.
Angels starter Kevin Appier had allowed one hit until David Bell's infield single with one out. Dunston, whose only homer this season came on April 15, followed to make it 2-0.
Appier stood with his hands on his hips as Dunston circled the bases. Shawon Dunston Jr. began clapping as he ran out to retrieve the bat and it was a sweet scene at home plate as the much-traveled veteran kissed his 9-year-old son.
Dunston, 39, made it to the majors a year before Bonds, and also had never been to the Series.
Lofton followed with a double and that was all for Appier. Lofton then stole third and scored as Francisco Rodriguez bounced a slider for a two-out wild pitch.
Lofton singled in the seventh, stole another base and scored on Jeff Kent's single for the 5-0 lead.

I was at the Wisconsin/Michigan football game a couple years ago where John Stocco scored on a 4th and goal QB draw on the last play of the game to win by 2. It was sick cuz he scored in touchdown in the visitor's endzone where it was all michigan fans and me and my buddy. Needless to say after all the shit-talking by them all game cuz they were winning, we didn't hesitate to remind them that their trip to Ann rbor should be spent pondering how much pole their team smokes.
Also, in eighth grade, i caught a 35-yard tailback pass, dragging toes in the endzone, to win by 1 as time expired to keep a 3-year win streak going. I am told it was a fun game to watch. -
2 CWS games come to mind...the best one was Warren Morris' walkoff HR off of Robbie Morrison to win the title in 1996 (?). Other one was Jeff Larish single handedly beating Nebraska after NU had stormed back to take the lead 7-5 in the top of the 9th.

I'd say it was the Chicago Bears 'fog bowl' but your thread clearly says seen so I'll go with a Cubs game that Mitch Williams was pitching in. We all lived on the north side of Chicago & would usually stroll straight out of bed & go to a local pub that also served as a small book maker. I'm there in a T & sleeping pants complete with slippers trying to bite the dog that fed me the night before & a buddy walks in (with his GF); we break out the cards & a few hours later I'm up close to $3k. This is above the 'friend' threshold at the time so my plan is to simply let him win $2.5k back & take the $500 in the future. Him & his girl were planning on going to the Cubs game but he'd have none of that insisting I go to the game with him & just left his GF at the bar. Off we went to the game (T, sleeping pants & slippers all) where we proceeded to make bet after bet & the guy couldn't win for losing, nothing, working his dept up to something like $7k. It was late & I believe it was an 0-2 count on Mitch at the plate & I just said I'll take 3-1 odds on $5k that Mitch hits a home run....friend instantly books the bet & within 10 seconds the ball was in the wire netting above the Ivy. The people around us went nuts & gave him so much shit that we finally just left Wrigley Stadium (errrrrr Field).

Not to sound like a sentimental loser but it has to be the first game my dad ever took me too. White Sox vs Royals. Nothing spectacular about the game but still one of my fondest memories.

Was at Florida Vanderbilt in 05 when it went to multiple overtimes in the swamp. Wasnt a tremendoulsy significant game but was just an incredible game that Florida pulled out from a decent Vandy offense led by Jay Cutler.
Was also at Game 7 of the Marlin championship game when Renteria scored the winning run in the 11th. -
Carl Lewis' last long jump and Michael Johnson setting the world record in the 400....pretty sick
