    Depends on position, I love Garnett but I would give the edge to James just because of all the potential he has as becoming the best. Shaq is most dominant center, Jordan the greatest.

    easily KG, most versatile player in NBA, he is a 7 footer with athletism of someone like 6'4, you can put this guy all over SF,PF even Center........not to mention his Jumper is drano all day he can stuff it down your throat and how many 7 footers can sit back and drop a 3 ball in your face?

    wein got it right man, u cant compare players in different positions- i dont see anyone comparing QB's to WR's

    my list is basically wein's list but updated at PG

    Lebron and KG are the best... Kobe to follow.

    When Artest was with the bulls he said the greatest thing.. something like "Im the best player in this league, i should be averaging a quadruple double" i think this was after a 10 point performance. Artest is good but not the best.

    Highest efficiency rating in the NBA for the last two years = KG

    Highest trade value in the NBA = KG

    Top ten in scoring, leads the league in rebounding, and top twenty in assists every year. Pick a category, and if it isn't turnovers you'll find KG in the list. Oh and he hits his free throws too. Unlike Duncan and Shaq.

    The players mentioned in this thread mostly can't guard him, but he can shut down every one of them.

    "I haven't been locked down like that since 8th grade" Tracy Mcgrady said that after being guarded by Kevin Garnett last year. Garnett owned him. Garnett also scored 32 in that game and pulled down 18 boards.
