    be hard to argue against the 95-96 Chicago Bulls as the best team of all time, basically across any sport...72-10, lost 3 games in 4 rounds of the playoffs. Jordan at his peak, Pippen and Rodman just shitting on everybody.

    Best NFL team of all time is kind of tough..... You could make the case for the '85 Bears, or the '84 49ers, but to be honest if you came to me and said "you can pick one team in nfl history to play a hypothetical 7 game series against any other team from history" I'd have to take the 2007 Patriots. I'm aware that they came up short in the Super Bowl but that team was simply unreal. So I guess among Super Bowl winners I'd take the '85 Bears, but if those two teams played neutral field, adjusted for year/training differences etc, I'd bet on the '07 patriots all day.

    Best baseball team...... The late 90's (98 I believe?) Yankees were dominant. I don't know too much about the history of baseball though so I'm sure there could be some other teams in there as well.

    Best Hockey team....... lol no clue.

    Also, how much of a skill gap do you think is accounted for by differences in technology / advances in training that come with time? E.G, do you think if you gave the Murderers Row Yankee team access to the training/fitness information available now (and roids lol), do you think they could compete with the '98 Yankees? Same question applies to some of the great NFL teams from the past vs. some of the dominant teams recently.

    Yeah those were the Gretzky squads, correct? That was one of the few teams I could think of.

    agree with OP on NBA and Football Picks. Could care less about baseball. They consider Nascar a Team sport so i would most def. have to go with.

    come on...I think the 80's hockey has to go to the Islanders. They barely qualify as a team right now, but 4 Stanley Cups in one decade? That's pretty sick IMO.

    Basketball:the bulls when Jordan dominated

    Baseball: The Yanks late 90's early 2000's

    Football: Packers I think it was late 60's, Buffalo made the SB 4 yrs in a row, not looking up the years though, and past few years, the Patriots me thinks.

    Are you referring to the higher quality cameras the patriots use to film other teams practice?
    Cause Id take todays technology over that beta bs from the 80's anyday.

    Lots to choose from but I don't think you could go wrong by picking either the Athletics or the Reds from the mid 70's.

    I honestly stopped following hockey after the lockout. I grew up an Islander fan cuz half the Stanley Cup squad's kids fromt he 80s lived in my town and you got your ass kicked if you weren't. It's too bad that they can't get a new stadium because the owner has hella money and it would also suck to lose the only sports franchise on Long Island even though they are God-awful for the past 15+years

    For baseball historians the '29 Philadelphia Athletics (Mack's men) pop up a lot in these discussions as well as murderers row of course. I think recently the 98 Yankees probably make the most sense. The Big Red Machine would probably be discussed as well. Who is the "they" that consider Nascar a team sport?

    The best football team of all time, otherwise, would be the 2007 Patriots.

    Both 90s squads were sick but my grandad always talked about the late 50s Montreal Canadiens (Both Richard bros Jean Beliveau Dickie Moore)

    are u talking a certain year or multiple years because people are giving lots of answers for teams cause they had a dynasty and not a specific year

    gonna stick to teams i've seen in my lifetime:

    nba: that bulls team obv...86 celtics 2nd best were 40-1 at home

    football: 07 PATS, always been fond of the 94 niners too. cowboys were really sick 92-93. niners with montana, 85 bears

    baseball: YANKEES dynasty, oakland when they had the bash bros. Phillies are really sick this year too.

    hockey: PENGUINS in the early 90's raped pretty hard, but only have sega genesis games as my real frame of reference =)
