for strengthening core and getting toned.. I am not looking to lose too much weight because I don't want to be a skinny piece of shit like i was in high school but I want to get toned and also lose my gut and find my abs again
Should I buy the Insanity workout or P90x? or is there something else that would be awesome -
P90X > Insanity for what you want.
I'm actually finishing P90X this week, then moving straight into Insanity. But mygoals were to lose as much fat as possible. -
We do this at work, (Firefighters)

10 pull ups
20 step ups on a fairly high platform
30 kettle bell swings (warning for your back)
40 press ups
50 sit ups
60 burpees. (Warning for your back)
10 more pull ups
To be done in 10 minutes
then repeat process upto 3 times , if you can.
its absolutely mad buddy and a killer, you are gulping air on the first one let alone the third.
First time i did it i was gulping air so bad i only could do it twice and it took me 10 mins and 14 mins.
but the results are good for stamina and becoming toned, its basically crossfit !!
When you are doing the burpees you will be stopping every 15 its a killer.
be carefull of your back though and this will make you very fit if you continue this -
Burpees are an absolute bitch! GL completing this routine in 10minutes.....also gl finding the willpower to repeat it 2more times! Currently trying to find a simple but effective workout, gona give this ago, def gona be blowing chunks after it

I effin hate burpees seriously its horrible but i did not hit three times for a lot of attempts, goodluck buddy you will be gulping, take it easy though, just build up to it, i did not attempt this till after 2 years of circuit training also, but benefits are ace !!!

I started using 2 hands. It's hard keeping the rhythm and gets tiring, but I've seen results.
