    Yeah, pretty droll thread but after selling my 360 several years ago I decided to buy another.

    Im not a huge fan of the FPS genre mainly because I suck at it so dont bother recommending COD/GOW etc etc

    I like sports games/GTA type games/platforms/fun rather than serious driving games. basically casual games that dont require huge amounts of time and ones that you can just pick up and play

    Ive got fifa10 and 11, batman arkham asylum, dead space, saints row 2, mx vs atx reflex

    If you have fifa you don't really need any other games..

    B3 if you don't like typical FPS, Dead island is ok.

    New GTA coming out as well

    I haven't played a solely offline game in a long time... but I'm loving Skyrim.

    zomg, you do realize that your xbox live account has been active for all those years (its charging somewhere cuz you're still a gold account). Assassins Creed might be fun for you. But I'd say its more of a rent and beat it then gtfo. Test Drive Unlimited 2 is pretty casual, basically just drive and do whatever you want just buying better crap as you keep playing.

    And there is always Uno in the arcade you slag.

    Just signed up for Gamefly. Had an Xbox since the first one came out, but haven't really played my 360 much last year. Decided to sign up and start playing more. Just got Battlefield 3 in the mail. This is what else I have in my queue although I like first person shooters more then you:

    Assassin's Creed Revelations
    Batman: Arkham City
    Elder Scrolls V
    Need for Speed The Run
    Gears of War 3
    Rage

    Anyone have any other games to suggest for me as well inline with my list? I also have a PS3 and am playing Uncharted 3 now.

    jesus fucking christ woman how many times do I have to tell you that I never had a gold account so I sure as shit aint paying for one now. The card I used for that account was closed a looong time ago.

    If you play Skyrim, you might just never have to buy another game on the 360...

    But you should download Shadow Complex anyways for $15. It is probably still the most fun I have had on my 360.

    Marvel vs Capcom was legit when I played it. I'm like you, OP, I just want to pick it up and be able to play from time to time. There was a 5 on 5 or 6 on 6 NFL game that rapes also. It's like NFL Blitz. Hell, it may be NFL Blitz

    what wouldnt be shocking to me is that you are a Warcraft dork. They are about the only people that could enjoy that magic casting bullshit while dealing with terrible graphics.

    If you don't like the game that is fine, but what console game are you playing that makes you think the game has terrible graphics?

    lol, some would say the same to people who only play these games

    skyrim, mass effect 1 and 2, fallout 3 and bioshock 1 are some of the best games ive ever played, they should keep you busy for a very long time

    ign or gamespot give really good reviews and i usually trust their advice on what is a good game and what isnt, they dont steer me wrong very often

    i havent played it for 360 but im guessing its no worse graphically than every other game out there for it

    would love to know what you constitute as a "great game"

    Hey sucka, I bought another Xbox360 and it should be arriving within the next week. I should be on a lot more coming up. What games are worth putting on the Christmas list? All I have right now is Batman: Arkham City and Skyrim. Should I put the new COD or BF on there?

    Or do you still play Halo?

    I don't just play those games, but COD and gears may be two of the best I've ever played...agree with fallout 3 as well...although he did mention that he doesn't want to play something that will take a huge amount of time (my first play through was around 50 hours iirc) which is a shame because it really is fucking amazing

    Pretty much the only 2 games I play these days are NHL12 and NBA2K. The new Madden is pretty sweet too.

    I like the COD series and the Battlefield series as well but I can only play those every once in a while.

    NHL12 is super sick they introduced a new physics engine last year and this year they improved upon it. The gameplay is amazing.

    NBA2K I don't even need to say anything. It's so fucking nasty they just keep getting better every year!!!!
