A few hours ago a buddy of mine im'd me with a link, which I clicked on and now I have spyware issues. Now this may seem stupid that I clicked on it but we are always sharing links with one another so the initial IM seemed totally standard. But regardless I'm the idiot and blah blah blah yes I know that.
So here comes Windows Security to the rescue to bail me out? Balls.
How about if we just scan your computer for the problem, then locate it, make you feel like we're helping, and then ask you to pay $60 to delete the problem. That's bullshit.
Now the windows security thingy is reminding me every 30 seconds that my computer is infected. If I click on it it takes me to the scan thing where my only option is to buy the fucking thing.
Open up Windows Security, see if I can change the settings.
I swear to god anything I click on in Windows Security just directs me to the site to buy the virus scan.
-Get the latest security information = Buy Virusscan
-Check for the latest security updates = Buy Virusscan
-Get support for security-related matters = Buy Virusscan

So basically, whatever was downloaded into my computer hasn't bothered me at all, but Microsoft's security management is worse than cancer. -
that's not actually microsoft security that's the virus pretending to be microsoft security.
