So as I went to take my clothes out of the community washer in my condo I noticed that there were clothes left in the dryer. Now I know the standard play is to just take them out and set them on top or whatever, but I noticed there were some womens underwear and shit and I honestly felt weird and figured she'd think I was some creep if she happened to walk in while i was touching her panties (Bfactorish thought I know) so I decided to wait it out and come back in 30 mins or so hoping the situation had resolved itself.
So I come back to find that yes she had taken her slutty underwear out of the dryer but also had taken the 75 cents that I had left to dry my clothes AND took my laundry basket. Like WTF? How pathetic is it to steal something of that little value? -
You got served, try dealing with it.

Spanky just creamed his pants and it ain't abut the context of your story.
-
Have you thought about the decent chance that she honestly and wholeheartedly assumed it was prob hers??

It was 75c.... I'm no thief, but If it's right by my 'laundry station'... over something so little and trivial I may well just pick it up assuming it was mine as well...
wallet? $20? Phone? Different story -
Well that sucks. Is taking peoples stuff out of the machine and putting it on top standard? Last week I came down to get my laundry that was in the washer. Some douche took my shit out of the washer n put it on top. I might have been 4-5 minutes late in changing it.
Well this pissed me the f off, and i dumped 1/2 a bottle of detergent into his wash. I wish i had bleach, I actually considered pissing in the fabric softener area. Was that overboard. I saw the douche getting into the elevator as I was getting off, he looked like a pedo. -
You just got laundry hopped

yeah, as far as I know taking someone elses laundry out is definitely not standard. I haven't had it done to me (or done it), but everyone I've heard talk about it has been similarly pissed when it's been done to them.

Before I got a woman that is willing to iron my clothes I dropped the clothes off at the laundromat. Washed, folded, hung and pressed for 70 cents a pound. Find one.

you left cash and a basket in a laundry and you are surprised there weren't there when you got back?
-
Have you tried hitting her?
-
This is correct

This better be a level, or you deserve to get kicked in the scrote.Originally Posted by dtrain

Put a note in the laundry room detailing the theft and to say fuck you.

When I had to share washer/dryer I would always set a timer to come back on time. There was one impatient dumb bitch who would always stop the dryer cycle early and dump my damp clothes on top to get wrinkled. After a few times, I waited for her and caught her in the act - 15 min still left on the dryer. Needless to say I snapped and she ran away and had her boyfriend confront me later on. I explained it to him and he just shook his head and said he would take care of it. Cool story bro. -

my god. The type of people that live in this world to actually stop your laundry and throw the damp clothes on top of the fucking machine. That's just low man. -
I've never done it. in fact I have never done a load of laundry in a shared (public) machine before

EDIT: wait, that's a lie. I did do a few loads at an apartment complex once. had to think about it -
I was hoping this was a thread on a new documentary about NASCAR in the 90's.
Also, 15-20 minutes after buzzer is standard wait time before you touch someone's shit. Gives enough time to allow for surprise diapers/shits/parental phone calls, but doesn't make you wait an unreasonable amount of time, either. -
Do you live in the nicest part of town in a gated community?

False. There's no such standard 15-20 minute buffer for unexpected delays. What if I walk in and its just sitting in there finished? I dont know how long its been done and it doesn't matter. If I'm sitting there and I see the cycle finish I won't rush right over and take it out... I'll give it 5 minutes to see if anybody shows up but Its perfectly standard to remove somebody's laundry and put it on a table or in an empty dryer respectfully. Has nobody in OT been to a laundromat before?

Edited By: Magnet Steve Sep 27th, 2012 at 03:22 AMI used to use a public coin-op when I lived in a no laundry building. Now it's a big laundry room for an upscale apartment complex, a lot of college kids. The buffer time is easier for me here because I can just come back upstairs instead of having to sit around like an asshole. However, there's also the heightened "crazy over-the-top reaction" possibility when using the coin-op that leads to prudence and the benefit of the doubt. It's 2012, bring your phone if you get bored easily.Originally Posted by MeJahAndOmaha
