    No..im not coming out of the closet..(yet)..but I just found out today Ive been dealt a shit hand and wont be able to finish up my degree at BC…Ill make the same mistake WAR made and tell you a little something about my life...
    I have no job and no real job skills, and in less than a month no place to live…Right now im situated in CT..but will need to find a place to live…def out of state.
    Ive never been to Vegas...but since at this point in my life I have nothing tieing me to anywhere..Id like to move some place I could enjoy…I have a little money saved up….and im confident I could survive on poker alone but still…I wasn’t planning on supporting myself with gambling…but I don’t feel like I have any other options……
    So anybody have any advice about moving to vegas?...Ive been trolling rent.com and craigs list…but I know nothing about the vegas area….where should I live/not live?....And anyone else have a semi similar situation of suddenly beging thrown out into the real world?...Ill take any help or adivce thrown at me..im still in the shock/pissed phase..but i think im gonna start to freak out soon
    oh and...PS....If i could finish up my degree i would..typical responses to threads like these are GET UR DEGREE RETARD!!!..but for reasons irrelevant to this thread..its not gonna happen...(oh and Sweet..the one good part of this day is that i finally figured out how to make paragraphs with a mac..nice..SHIP!)..and thanks OT

    lol, just did this exact same thing... I'd advise learning to deal some casino games so you have a safety net if you're running bad/getting owned.

    I'm living in reno right now for a couple of reasons, not moving to vegas till june... but the live play here is a joke... probably the same everywhere if you're decent at game selection

    definatly having a blast and do not see myself going home anytime in the near future

    I highly recomend shipping yourself out west

    great to hear..I was praying to hear a postive response...I thought about dealing a while back, but SNG grinding is something i could always fall back on...its a fairly consistant income..as far as poker goes...but obv the reason im going to vegas to play more live...Ive been working on my game at foxwoods..and doing pretty well

    Damn gg life. At least get a part time job while you try to play poker, you need some sort of consistent income.

    ha...CT represent!...what what!!...sorry for that...but with my skills...and lack of clean urine...the best job i could get would be like $10-15 bucks an hour at best...and i make more playing poker...oh..and did i mention im really lazy?
