This was a documentary about a group of big wave surfers, but you don't have to be a surfing enthusiast (and I'm not) to enjoy it. The film contained some amazing footage including one wave which really stood out. Here it is...

has anyone ever crapped their pants while on a wave that big? it's a lock i would.

Yeah...part of me wants to experience the thrill of riding a wave that big, but another part is scared to death at the prospect.

After getting thrown around by waves 1/100th of that size this year when I went to Mexico, I doubt I would even think twice about doing that.
I did get up on the board my first try though and was able to ride a little bit. With no instructor or anyone there to help me out, I was no pro. -
that was insane....
it's great how they show the wave build...give you a better idea just how big it is....
