    I called Bingo at a nursing home once....after that I devolped a hate for bingo and the elderly...

    The other players in the chat doesnt seem to know about any good bingo books or winning strategies.

    PartyBingo seems to be a goldmine for a skilled bingo player

    Come on...computer bingo takes away most of the skill. Playing real bingo, the paper kind you need excellent hand eye coordination plus the ability to recognize complex patterns such as the "crazy Y" and "3 lines no free". Selecting the proper color of dobber to use for specific games based on past results is also no easy feat. Anyone can play bingo but real success only comes with experience. From my observations you really don't hit your prime until at least 60.

    Actually I have been in to our local Bingo Palace and overheard people commenting on the prowess of certain players. I couldn't see them however due to the thick clouds of smoke.

    Some excellent points here, but I think online bingo could be +EV if you work hard to develop these skills:

    1. Game selection. Dont sit down if you spot more than two screennames starting with "Mrs." Avoid at all cost PartyBingo if "ABlackCar" is seated -shes one tough Grandma.

    2. Hand selection. Dont be lazy and do the "Quick buy" cards option. Manually select the cards with the highest winning possibilities, namely cards containing the numbers 9 and 7. (-s)

    3. Multitabling. Practice playing many cards at once, you give up a lot of $/hr if you play only one card. This advice off course only apply if youre a winning bingo player.

    4. Patience. Dont move up from the dime cards to the 50 cents cards before youre ready for it. I know you will say that "Shipittheotherway" went directly to the 50 cents cards and had a sick run, but rumour now is that hes busto.

    5. Rooting youre cards. Learn proper rooting from Sheets and JB at stars. If youre 1tg (Bingo lingo for "1 ball to go to bingo") type the number repeatedly and annoyingly in the chat box.

    bingo was my first introduction to gaming for money when i was a little kid

    it has a fond space in my heart

    there are worse ways to spend your time

    Bingo brings kids and their grandparents together. That as well as slots,craps & roulette...shit my grandmother rocks harder than any of my friends! Plus she funds the trips!

    there was a game played in class called asshole bingo

    the concept was you selected the names of five people who you thought would speak in class that day, generally concentrating on the class know it alls, suck ups or clueless. when you made your bingo, you had to get recognized by the prof and work the word bingo into your comments to win

    of course, no money being involved at the time it wasnt as good as real bingo but still it gave each class some juice
